This place is very unprofessional. You will understand what I mean when you go, but 1. these employees have little to no experience, they are just hired because they are either Muslim or had some kind of experience to get them in the door. It is like everyone there is entry-level. 2. this affects the level of professionalism. Whoever is in charge needs to instill professionalism into the culture at Access, entry level or not the company has the resources to be great, but just doesn't take the care or discipline to be. and to defend my comment in the first paragraph, it was not a racist comment, entry level hotel receptionsists are more professional than the front desk people at this establishment. Many of them only understand the bare minimum of checking people in and aswering the phone. Management needs to monitor their performance. unprofessional, unprofessional, unprofessional. doctors, nurses, social workers, everyone. Being cool is one thing, but there is a fine line with being cool and being too cool. They are too cool to the point where you just get unprofessional. Sorry, I know i smile in your faces and make you feel like your doing a good job, but your not. :P
Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. We love their syringe service program, they do a fantastic job of helping folks that no one wants to help and need it perhaps the most. They are good for our community.
Excellent organization with dedicated staff providing medical and harm reduction services as well as referrals for mental health and substance abuse treatment. They also give away food including perishables, unlike many places on Wednesdays between 1pm-3pm. They also have a van that will deliver harm reduction supplies free of charge.
Amazing staff, they truly care about your whole entire being. Switched over to Access for emotional & behavioral health and so far I enjoy the services they provide.
I got my covid vaccine here and needless to say the arrangement and experience was very good. The employees took good care of the people and they handled the crowd very well. Well coordinated with care and mindfulness towards the older folks, while keeping the lines moving. People were also given multi vitamin supplements to take home as well.
Absolutely love this place. They are very kind, caring and understanding. A wonderful staff that always makes me feel welcome and comfortable. Marna is wonderful and Shiela is by far the best phlabotimist I have ever encountered.
MY 1st experience of this place was not good at all!! I changed my primary doctor to the Dr. at access like I was told to do. I asked the guy that took me in the room I'm gonna see the Doctor today? He left the room came back & said YES.later found out he's a social worker I thought he was a nurse. When me & that guy were done I was sent back to the front waiting area. I literally sat there for 1&1/2hr to 1hr & 45mins. I kept asking the nurses up front how much longer til I saw the Doctor & I was told 10-15 mins at most. The office was closing & I was still waiting to see the Doctor!! Now I was getting upset cuz I WAS IN ALOT OF PAIN bc my teeth, my feet,toes, calf's and ankles all swollen i had other issues going on too Which I had told everyone that I talked to there so they knew that I needed to be seen by the doctor about more than just one thing. In the end I was told I wasn't seeing the Dr. & I had to go get blood drawn at this place that was literally a 30min drive which makes no sense bc there had to be one closer. And I had to wait 2 weeks to see the Doctor too. But I called this girl I met throught Acess's Mobile Health Van Abt what happened & she had the Social Worker from Access contact me right away. He did everything to help get me into see the Doctor whixh I really appreciated. He also apologized & said this doesn't normally happened & thanked me for be Soo patient. I said he all make mistakes. He also is helping find a dentist so I can get my teeth pulled bc my teeth is causing alot of my issues I think. So since Access apologized & I got an appt the first week in August so I'm happy Abt that. I'll post another one updated once I go again so then I'll know if they are good.
Toxic management has chased away or fired all the people that made this place great. I just found out Marna has left so I’m definitely cancelling my appointment and finding a different office. It’s a shame, I’d been going there since they opened.
