NOT ALL HEROS WEAR CAPES! Dr. Pina and staff are incredible.
Great staff, friendly and professional. Dr. Pina has helped me so much to recover from chronic back pain and neuropathy. It's an ongoing process but neurologists were no help. Dr. Pina rates progress with every visit, listens intently to patients and has a great sense of humor. The physical and massage therapists are top notch.
I brought my 12 year old siamese cat into their facility. He was diagnosed with having an enlarged heart with fluid. They charged $4,000 to have the fluid removed + prescribed medicines. A week later, we brought him back in because he wasn't eating. They said they would like to insert a feeding tube. I said I wanted him to have quality of life and the Dr. said he would definitely be okay afterwards. They charged $3,000. He came out of surgery and looked like he was half dead. It was so upsetting. They told us to come and pick him up closer to 5pm on a Saturday night. They gave us about 8 prescriptions and then explained how to use a feeding tube. They didn't have food so we'd have to go buy it and it was a prescription food + we'd have to grind up the food + they didn't have one of the prescriptions. We had to rush out and buy a blender + pharmacy was closed and wouldn't open until Monday. And we had to order the food. They also gave us a 10 page print out of "instructions". It was a lot to absorb + we were pretty upset about his condition. The doctor reassured us he would bounce back. And he started to but then the threw up the feeding tube within 1.5 weeks. They then charged me $1250 to have it replaced. I was infuriated and called and spoke to a Beatrice back office person. She said it was my fault he did that but would give us $100 off the price. Ridiculous. They had our cat and said the two options were to reinsert it and pay $1250 OR pull it out. They SUCK. We had no choice but to pay the $ and have it reinserted. My precious kitty died two weeks later. We rushed him to the clinic and they said his heart was failing even though we were giving him heart medicine 2 times a day. They charged us $123.00 for that visit. AND they NEVER called afterwards to say they were sorry for our loss. Within a month of bringing him in, we paid almost $7,000.00 and he DIED. They are the WORST people on earth. THey only care about making money, they are unsympathetic group. We miss our kitty every day and know they killed him. BEWARE -- they don't care about your animal, they only care about making money.
Highly recommend. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. Treatments are excellent. Glad to have been referred here myself.
