Ace Hardware City

I have been shopping at this Ace Hardware location for many years primarily because of the helpful staff and the selection of merchandise. I needed a new water faucet handle and some hose accessories as my original outside water faucet handle broke off of the stem. Ryan was extremely knowledgeable and patient explaining to me the required steps that I needed to take to replace the handle. You just can't find somebody that cares about your project at a "Big Box" retailer, but the minute you walk into this store, the staff always asks how they can assist and help you every time. You can't put a price on exceptional customer service these days, and I know that every time I shop at this store I will find exactly what I need quickly and at an affordable price. Keep up the great work!!!

ACE Hardware 1445 Memorial Dr. August 29, 2023. I was shopping their website online and then called to confirm availability of the product I was looking for Tundra Big Boss Foam Noodles Blue/Orange. The lady who answered the phone was very polite and went to verify they still had the blue and orange colors I was needing. They had 3 of each and she wanted to hold them for me, but I told her no need, I will come tomorrow and buy what they have left. I drove to the store the next day, and sure enough all the blue and orange noodles were gone, I was like just my luck. I asked a store associate if they had more? He then took me to the front of the store and behind the register was the 3 blue and 3 orange noodles I was looking for. The lady had saved them for me after all not even knowing if I was going to come by or not. I did not get names, but was very impressed with the customer service at this ACE to go above and beyond to meet their customers’ expectations. Great job, Keep up the good work! Thanks Warren

A bit pricey, but they had just what I needed 5/8" hat cap for a garbage tote axle while Orange and Blue did not. Very helpful, friendly service! The parking was close, secure and convenient, and the store was clean, organized and well lit.

I love Ace Hardware, especially this location. Ace is filled with fun, unique items from gifts to household need. This location has the friendliest employees. It is so nice to walk in and be immediately greeted, helped if needed and always with a smile. They typically have multiple checkout lanes open, so you don't have to wait - in and out in a flash! I love parking area too. The actraul area is close to the entrance and lots of spaces. The store is also very clean. Need cards, bird seed, wind chimes, candles, home repair, lawn items and so much more? Ace is your store!

I've been a big fan of Ace hardware for over 20+ years. It's my neighborhood store and never have I had anyone treat me over friendly or overly rude until today. Not sure where they found the cashier at 14455 Memorial drive, wearing the mask but she made a simple return extremely over the top offensive. I walked in to return my $14 ant bait with my receipt. She asked if I opened it. My response was no, it's just not the right product. She then opened the box and checked all the nozzles and asked if that was the only thing in the box. My response as far as I know, it's how I received it when I purchased it. She then sent another person to get another box of the product, he checked it. Of course he checked and everything was fine. I called and talk with the manager Ivan, who was very apologetic, but the deal is sealed I will not be shopping there again. In the day & age where you can order anything online, and box stores are plentiful. I intentionally shop at Ace. So for subpar, rude and what felt like semi-racist treatment. I'll let my money talk for me. If a person was returning something with 50 pieces, I doubt Ace would pull that off the shelf and dump all 50 pieces on the counter and count each one. Just really disappointed

Every time I go, I get TOTALLY JUDGED by one or more of the employees because I have more ink than skin left. I'm either treated like I'm a suspicious person or the exact opposite w the overly over the top nice treatment. The sad fact is most of the employees there which includes EVERY male individual are really great, knowledgeable, eager to help you solve whatever issues you have and try to give a few different solutions to choose from w an example as well as explanation of what & why each resolve is. But really it's 2 particular female employees that have constantly given me as well as other heavily tattooed individuals that I've seen of personally a treatment of feeling like we were undesirables in the establishment. Due to the consistency of the views of 2 particulars, I can't give more than 3 stars and believe me, if not for the rest of the employees full professionalism and helpfulness they would receive an even lesser rank.

Be careful, the inventory status shown for this ACE branch in ACE online is not correct. Drove there for 30 minutes to get some 20ft schedule 80 pipe web site said they have stock at this branch.... No schedule 80, and no 20ft, only 10ft pieces for 20% more $$ than at Lowes/Home Depot.... They did have some schedule 80 fittings which I could pick up..... Staff were friendly, though.

This is a clean, well lighted Ace Hardware store with good merchandise presentation.The store is well staffed with friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They have a very nice selection of outdoor grills. Prices are a little higher than the big box home improvement stores. I don't mind paying a little more for the convenience

Lovely store, helpful employees, quality products! I would go here over Lowes and Home Depot if I could anytime. They really have customer service down and you aren't waiting for 40 minutes to get a product unlocked like you would at a bigger hardware store. I spent the extra time that I saved by not having to squawk my lungs out seeking help, to further look around the store and see what all they have to offer! It seems endless until you need to find what you are looking for. All the hardware I needed I found. If you stop by this place take care of them for me, I'd like to keep shopping at these pleasant places! P.S. Word of advice for new bees getting bolts.... write the price on the provided bag before you go up to the counter! It will save you or the cashier a walk.

As they say, “Ace is the Place,” you can always find the miscellaneous part you need to close out those pesky DIY projects! Sure beats having to go to the big box stores.
