I had such a great experience at Ace today! Not only did the staff help me find what I needed, but I asked if they could connect my items I have arthritis and was unable to do it myself. They did and I was able to easily install at home. I really appreciate y’all going above and beyond!
It is pretty high-dollar here but they count on people not driving to Manhattan. Some of the staff are friendly but some are not. The metal roof ticks in the summertime from heating and cooling, which is normal, you just don't hear it everywhere else.
If I could I would have given zero stars! I made a purchase asking for military discount. Ethel the always rude cashier told me that ace did not offer it! I was surprised-knowing they do. So I reiterated and then when the purchase got through she acts surprised and says “ oh military discount- I thought you said Medicare discount!“ RIGHT!!! She processes the amount again now with the discount. Telling me she canceled the first payment! Well- she didn’t ! It hard posted and now I have to wait until I get it refunded! It has been three days and NOTHING ! The owner acts surprised telling me Ethel was such a wonderful employee! No ma’am! Ethel is rude and inept! And though I contacted my bank I yet have to see you reimbursing me. This is MY hard earned money and YOU have to reimburse me. It does not take that long- I sincerely believe you have not returned the money yet at all!
I had to rent a piece of equipment for a diy project, I had no clue what I was doing but Zoee did an awesome job of explaining everything! Definitely will be going back!
I was able to reserve car hauler the day before I needed it to speed my process. It worked out great as I was scheduled to pick it up at 0900. All checked in by 0845, hooked up to the truck and gone by 0900. The lady helping me out was very quick and knew how to get through the paperwork fast. Left the store and loaded for the trip by 1015. The smooth transaction helped the day begin well and dropped off the trailer at our destination by 1500. Drop off place was quick to inspect and check in within 15 minutes. Wow, will use the UHaul rentals again and I highly recommend Midwest Ace Hardware!!
Friendly and very helpful Associates. Clean and organized. They have a surprisingly large amount of merchandise for a small store. If your gardening in the summer, they have everything you need for your garden including plants and when my husband is working on a project he always forgets something the store will most likely have what he needs.
I've only been in a handful of times, but every time I'm met with a friendly greeting, and helpful assistance.
The lady's in the store were very friendly and helpful.
Team here does a great job taking care of their customers to get you in and out in a timely fashion! Much appreciated.
My go to hardware place. At times might be under staffed. But well worth the wait.
