They sharpen lawn mower blades, make key and more. Plus great service. Somethings do cost more, but they are a small local business.
I purchased a gallon of paint from another Ace store location that is now no longer Ace; rather Frattallone's. I took the can of paint back because the entire interior of the lid had rusted compromising the paint. Since this store wasn't affiliated with the Ace brand name anymore they also did not carry this private-label brand of paint. So they sent me to Suburban Ace Hardware in Roseville. Even though I didn't purchase the paint at this location, the owner of the store didn't hesitate to extend superior service to address my concern. Bravo for standing behind the 'Ace' name & product. In today's world when there are a plethora of locations to shop from, customer service is the only real thing that separates you from your competition. I will be back!
Friendly and Helpful staff. I've gone here for quick stops to replace broken stuff in the house.
This place looks small but is packed full of hardware stuff that you would need and the people are very friendly and knowledgeable.
ACE Hardware left Columbia Heights due to a building being demolished. I needed calcium salt pucks to remove ice dam on my roof. I walked in the store and a pallet of the product was right in front of me! "What are you looking for today?" I grinned and grabbed one container, " This! And a 10 lb bag of sidewalk salt." The associate nodded "You need the Commercial Sidewalk sidewalk salt?" "Yessir!" I replied. He nodded and told me the price. I paid him. "Do you want me to get you the bag of salt? " "No i can get it myself, thanks!" Small white calcium chloride pucks works great to remove the ice on roof edges. Either throw them up on the eves which is the suggested way. I however like to place them by hand by climbing an extension ladder. Good deal
Great store. I've purchased many items there over the years. I feel lucky to have a hardware store so close -and not a big box! Keep up the great work Mike and company!
Very overpriced. Another customer was also complaining about prices. She mentioned how pricey things were just from last week. She was also complaining about the weather but Ace the helpful place doesn't control the weather.......or do they????
Great service. I brought my snowblower in to get repaired and they told me a week to 10 days. It was done in 4 days. Good price and wonderful people. Will be back.
Great service! I'm in here more often than I care to admit. Preferred over bigger stores whenever possible.
Don't let the size of the place fool you. They have everything you can think of, reasonable prices, helpful staff and free popcorn. They also do basic repairs. I brought in two lamps for new switches and it was $25 total for parts and labor.The only con is limited parking.
