The new pool and slides are great. The place stays packed, though. They need more life guards. The poor kids they have are so over extended. It gets shoulder to shoulder. It's still an amazing experience. Slides are fun pools that have things for young kids and teens and adults alike. Something for everyone. Playground: Plenty of parks and play area. Train fishing in the pond. A lot of good stuff for kids and adults. Restrooms: Being re built. Dog-friendliness: Super pet friendly Picnic area: Lots of space under pergolas or just under one of the many large old trees.
Huge city park, in the process of getting the swimming pool renovated. Multiple sports stadiums, plus skate park, kids fishing pond, mini-golf, mini narrow-gage railroad, route 66 museum, and more. Reasonably clean. No services available on Sundays.
The place seems really nice, there was kids walking around looking at the ducks, play toys, and they are even showing movies starting at 9 p.m. this summer. The ducks are very talkative and let you get within just a couple feet, very calming and awesome place. Playground: Very large area, big toy, monkey bars, Mary go round and several other things in a large area. Restrooms: I don't think there are any port a potty installations, but there are businesses nearby. Picnic area: Many covered areas with many more tables, many upon many.
Prices were very reasonable. Facility was very nice and clean.
Got some fried chicken and went and sat under a shade tree for lunch when I was passing through the other day. It was something my mom and I did as a kid and it evoked a lot of childhood memories. Beautiful place.
Stopped here for a break during our trip to Broken Arrow. Very cute and clean park with 2 separate play grounds for different ages. We played at the smaller one. My Littles are under 3 and enjoyed the 3 slides this park had to offer. The grass was green and well kept.
Very nice with plenty of shade..swimming pool..water slide.splash pad..shelters with picnic tables..some shelters has electric and water..NO OVER NIGHT PARKING ALLOWED.
We visited last Saturday's free activities. My granddaughters Ryleigh and Regan loved the carousel and train rides as well as miniature golf. Free hot dogs and snow cones made their evening complete.
Easy access and multiple places a fun almost private family time.
The city does a good job keeping this place looking good all the time.
