On my second visit for cleaning, I arrived on time and was taken to the cleaning suite. Office staff took my BP and updated my med history and told me that the hygienist will be coming in shortly. So I waited in the chair ... and waited... and waited... for 25 minutes I waited... no hygienist. I then left the suite because if the hygienist arrived at that point, I would be late for my next appointment. My attitude is that this office needs to respect my time as I respect theirs I arrived on time. This was my second visit to their office so I really have no history with them if this tardiness is normal or not, but it certainly isn't professional. I'm going elsewhere for my dental needs. I took the office up on trying them again and had a wonderful experience. I was seen on time and very much enjoyed my cleaning if such a thing is possible. I have modified my star rating from 2 to 5
I just switched myself and my two sons 14 and 9 from their pediatric dentist to long term dental care and chose Acre Wood Dental based on the very positive reviews. My kiddos are my world and my oldest has a needle phobia. We had our visit Monday and I am so incredibly thankful and appreciative of the kind and attentive care we both were shown. This was Jacob's first time being seen without mom because I was being seen in another room at the same time and he had such wonderful things to say about how everyone treated him. I appreciated they were kind and understanding we had a total of 5 appointments that day, they made a dental plan for me personally that fit my needs and made me comfortable. They made sure I understood and didn't pressure me into getting an appointment right then. I was able to call back and make an appointment that worked with my job. Thank you for your kindness and compassion. I am so humbled by how good your team was to my oldest son Jacob, thank you.
I'll preface this by saying, I have had horrible experiences with going to a dentist in the past. I've managed so well with not having major work throughout a majority of my adulthood the idea of a crown petrified me. Dr. Olczack sorry if I murdered that not only did phenomenal on making sure I was comfortable, I felt NOTHING. He stopped to check in on me knowing my experiences, explained everything thoroughly and ensured I was comfortable. His staff was just as exceptional in care, knowledge and creating such a better experience overall. I love the front desk worker, she has an infectious smile and is always so bubbly. The office is clean, progressive in dental care and I feel more like I'm preparing to get a massage then the buzz buzz of a drill. My son had an exceptionally better experience as well and is not afraid of the dentist, not to mention they've really encouraged him to be better with his dental hygiene. Bedside manner is top notch! If that is a term in the dental world. The staff engage each other professionally and respectfully they seem to really enjoy what they do. Positive atmosphere and very clean. Highly recommend.
Staff are friendly. I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout my entire stay. Dr Johnson and his group are great at their job! Thank you for making my dentist appointment encounter as comfortable as possible after a long time not having a dental cleaning.
It was my daughters first dental experience at age 2. They were AMAZING with her. She did so well and I know it’s because they made her feel so comfortable. Highly recommend.
Unfortunately this office can not change prescriptions once they've been notified three times in one day that it was a necessity. Their office is closed with no way to reach them on an emergency basis and I will end up at the emergency room tonight with a massive infection. So for this reason I take back what I said about what a great office they were I would never return.
Dr Johnson & his crew are the best teeth doctors I have ever had & I’m 78 years old! If you want personal attention & perfect work, go see them!
The kindness and service at Acre Wood Dental is top tier. Felicia is a kind, personable and caring dental hygienist and all the dentists are friendly and courteous. The Ooey Gooey cookies are an added plus!
My wife has been a patient at Acre Dental clinic for the past several months. We moved to Texas from Maryland and tried several other clinics before trying Acre. My wife has several dental problems and wasn't satisfied with other clinics for a variety reasons. The first thing she noticed was how clean the office and waiting rooms are. I was immediately greeted by a friendly staff. The dentist explained everything to me in a way I could understand. The rooms are well organized and the dental assistants are attentive to her needs. She said she has found a dental clinic she feels comfortable and confident in.
The staff is very welcoming , warm and friendly. The always help to ease my anxiety .Dr. Olzack and his assistant are wonderful.
