The newly re-branded ACT-Paragon offers a full range of biomedical services for healthcare facilities and a full variety of both new and refurb equipment.
Jeff Ross started Advanced Clinical Technology in 2008 after working as a biomed and as an anesthesia tech for several years in the Metro Detroit Area. Jeff grew ACT into a prospering Biomedical Company offering a full range of services from general biomedical maintenance to sterilizer maintenance and Medical Equipment Management Programs. ACT was one of the first Independent Service Organizations to be able to offer a comprehensive solution for rural hospitals, surgical centers and clinics across the state of Michigan.
Ross realized that he was missing one component to his business. Anesthesia - the modality that helped Jeff Ross get his start in the field to begin with. Soon Ross set his sites on the goal of acquiring the missing piece of the puzzle. In December of 2018, Advanced Clinical Technology acquired the assets of Paragon Service and has made itself one of the only companies in the state to be able to offer this scope of service to its customers.
Along with the broad scope of services, ACT-Paragon also offers a wide variety of products for customers across the United States. ACT-Paragon offers NEW Mindray Anesthesia Machines and Monitors, Refurbished GE, Drager and Penlon Anesthesia systems as well as most major brands of patient monitors. They also supply NEW Stainless Steel products and ECG Carts. Refurbished Sterilizers and Warming Cabinets are perhaps the one thing that truly sets ACT-Paragon aside from the others, not only the ability to supply these products for customers in need, but also be able to properly install all aspects of the equipment that would be needed and offer a turn key solution.
In 1991, Tom Green started Paragon Service following 10 years
of anesthesia equipment sales and service. What started as a one-man
operation has grown into a successful company that markets specifically to clients in peri-operative environments and, more recently, the surgery center niche. Specializing in anesthesia, Paragon Service can offer customers new Mindray anesthesia systems and monitors, refurbished Paragon Platinum SC430 anesthesia systems, refurbished anesthesia systems by Drager and GE/Datex-Ohmeda, and a wide variety of monitoring solutions as well. Paragon Service also has a highly experienced service force in the Michigan/Ohio/Indiana region.
