San Francisco dentist focusing on patient education, prevention, and emerging technologies.
Dr. Miller’s practice theory centers around patient education, and an understanding that the best care begins with an informed patient. He relies on strong communication skills, and strives to ensure that everyone in the dental chair is well equipped to make treatment decisions that will help them reach their oral health goals. Most importantly, by highlighting each person's unique biology and dentition, Dr. Miller is able to focus on prevention and create treatment plans with the objective that patients maintain healthy, cavity-free mouths.
While patient care and a dedication to the science of dentistry is a full-time occupation, Dr. Miller prides himself on making time to give back. He leads yearly trips to Mexico with LIGA Flying Doctors of Mercy to help the less fortunate people of San Blas, and volunteers in multiple other local events around the Bay Area, including CDA Cares and Project Homeless Connect. Equally impactful are his efforts to help shape the next generation of dentists by returning once a week to his alma mater, the UOP Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, as a instructor in the Department of Integrated Reconstructive Dental Sciences.
Dr. Miller grew up in Davis California, is a graduate of UC Davis, San Francisco State, and the University of the Pacific. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the San Francisco Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, and several study clubs throughout the Bay Area.
