The station looks alot better cleaner and the digital displays are up to date with real time displays of in coming trains on a 4 sided display when you walk into the station. Less smart trip card machines though. They have fixed all the cracked and broken tiles and increased lighting by 90 percent it's definitely better The months that the station was down was well worth it for the improvement. There are still little odds and ends they have not finished but all in all it's a great improvement from what it was.
People need to pay their fare, they are walking through like it's nothing to them free ride on the metro rail and bus. It hurts that some of us like me have to pay more on our fare
Very clean and easy to use. Good parking. But best part is the daytime station master working May 28 & 29. Sorry, I neglected to notice his name. His knowledge and sense of humor was so helpful to 3 country bumpkins! This neighborhood is fortunate to have this service.
Covered parking is great when you can get it. The other parking isn't far either. The walk isn't too far. Easy in and out. The staff have always been helpful. No more of a problem than any other station with the escalators. The vehicle and bus pickups are also arelatively close walk. Easy in and out. Located near main thoroughfares without backups.
This is the Metro Station I get off at when going to my sister house. The station is normally clean and sometime congested and there are many people who smoke tobacco at this station. The P12-Eastover, A12-Capitol Plaza; C21; C22; V14-Penn Mar; #23 The Bus to Courthouse; and some other buses service this station.This is the Blue and Silver Metro Lines. There is a parking garage, elevator and cab stand. You don't have to walk to the street to catch a cab or Uber. There is also a drop-off and pick-up area. It has fairly good lighting when standing at the bus bays waiting on the bus to arrive. Happy Riding!
Conveniently in the heart of PG county. Great for commuting or going to a Redskins game/Fed Ex field. My all time favorite stomping grounds...
I’ll go down to the metro station and see my friends down there and come and visit hang out there down and a place at Metro station that’s where I take my pictures that’s why I do right now yes 6:30 amazing down there you can talk to me about anything because we go to Buddy’s
I'm not impressed with this location!! From my understanding it's not very well lit up during the dark hours of the day and night!! Not enough Police Presence
Cuz they remodeled it is very convenient very nice big clear size with signs with time on them
Very convenient access, and a good way to get to DC from my area. Also easy parking
