Highland Garden Playground

First time visiting this place for a brithday party. You have to remove your shoes before entering on the play area so wear socks. Place was clean and the little kids had fun. Would recommend if you have small children.

This place is such a wonderful place for my 18 month old baby girl. She enjoyed it so much! Thank you for offering a place where she can safely play. Everything was clean and the staff was wonderful! My check-in process was fast and simple. I will definitely be bringing my daughter here and inviting my friends and family members who have children.

Highly recommend. They were so easy and efficient at communicating with. They were able to answer all my questions and fears over safety and I was completely at ease. The day ran perfectly, having an attendant there was the best thing ever. I was able to concentrate on other areas of the party and the kids were watched, kept in order and time slots allocated for the younger kids and older kids. It was just perfect and the kids had the best time.

Staff was pleasant. Location was small. Pretty dirty everywhere I looked I went through all the attractions b4 my kid to inspect all the extra toys were old and grimy. Kids had an ok time but they got bored really quick. This place is pretty much for babies and toddlers so don’t take any child over 3

The very first time I visited Play EC was back in February or March of 2021 their first day that they opened. It was so clean the staff provided great customer service . The employees cleaned regularly they also played with my child . My child loved it , I couldn’t wait to bring him back . I booked a party for his birthday on Sunday 3/27 . My party time was 6:30-8:30 . I arrived before 6 so that I could put my decorations up . A party before me was there still going on they didn’t leave and wrap things uptil 6:20 . Once that party was gone a employee told me I could start setting up at 6:20 !!! That means I only had 10 MINUTES BEFORE MY PARTY TIME TO PUT MH DECORATIONS ON ! I arrived before 6pm so I should’ve had time to set up my decorations. That was the first red flag . Then I didn’t appreciate how the staff were not providing great customer service wasn’t friendly but stood in the entrance of the party room the whole time on their phone as if they were taking count of the people in my party . That really made me feel uncomfortable.. THEN the owners child came and joined my son party without being invited sat and ate for a whole hour before the staff even said anything! Then my pizza arrived at 8:30pm so they let us stay till 9 as if that’s all they should’ve gave us . I also feel like for all we pay in the party package it should be better decorations that they provide ! The decorations that they provide come from dollar tree they’re very cheap . It’s really a hit and miss with Play EC you never know what you will get sometimes they put effort in to the parties sometimes they don’t ! Overall they need to work on customer service, cleanliness & their decor and don’t rush and don’t use cheap decorations for all of the money people pay for their parties . Nice play for your kids to play but as far as having a party here just stick to having a house party go to your nearest park anywhere but here .

Great place.The atmosphere was awesome. The kids really enjoyed a lot. Don't get misleaded by the negative reviews, some human beings never get satisfied. Great job Philly.

I hosted my sons 2nd birthday party here. I love the facility. It’s perfect for toddlers and my babies really enjoyed themselves. The customer service was HORRIBLE. The room was set up beautifully, but after showing me the room the 4 hostess never left the front counter. The ladies seemed to act “too cute” to do much of anything. From my understanding the package included a hostess to host. The drinks weren’t cold at all. They were just placing drinks in the fridge while we played. No one ever came to the back to ask if we needed anything. The customer service was Terrible.

Fun, clean, and affordable. This is an indoor playground for when the weather is too hot or rainy. The equipment is well maintained and it is an inviting atmosphere for kids under age 7.

This place was Awesome! I'm a homeschooling mom of an active 5 yo and this place was the outlet we've been looking for. It was clean and a good amount of space. We were the only ones there at the time that was actually preferred so my daughter had her fill. The owner was very polite and welcoming. Definitely a benefit to the community as I believe it is the only indoor playground on this side of the county.

My daughter had a party there and the customer service was horrible. The owner I guess, lady with a bald cut, was not friendly at all. She wasn’t welcoming and seemed like she was ready to go. Party was supposed to start at 5:30 but didn’t til 5:45. Initially the owner asked for 5 mins but took longer. Charged everyone $3.17 for some dollar store socks. She also tried to charge me an extra $25 to my remaining balance. Implying it was taxes when the tax was already when I paid my deposit. Everyone needed socks to walk across mats that look like shoes have been worn on it. The play area could really use a deep cleaning. The napkins didn’t match the decor I had. They didn’t even have a knife to cut cake with just plastic butter knives. Charged for pizza they ordered from Papa Johns and if you want to bring outside food in it’s $60. The bathroom could’ve been cleaner and it had no toilet paper . This location in Capitol Heights won’t last long. Too much money for poor customer service and papa johns pizza!
