Adrian Fulton's Fine Art Gallery

On a recent visit to NOLA, my group and I stumbled upon an eclectic studio where we were greeted by a snazzy Schnauzer named Abby. Complete with a pearl necklace and frilly dress, Abby is about as cool as cool gets! Her dad is pretty cool too. Artist Adrian Fulton’s back story is a dream come true - taking yourself out of the rat race to do what you love. I had to have a piece of his work and being a crazy dog mom, I quickly claimed a sketch of Abby in a repurposed “shabby chic” frame. I can’t wait to hang it and tell this awesome story to guests!

Adrian is more than an artist, or—he’s more than the art he creates. He cannot be defined by his work, regardless of how miraculous it is; it is his person that I drew the greatest inspiration from. I now consider Adrian a friend; each time that I visit New Orleans, I stop by his shop and we just catch up like old pals. During my last visit I purchased a portrait he did of Pablo Piccasso, and on the other side Joan crawfish. It’s my favorite piece of art and I’m blessed that’s it signed by Adrian.
