Very underwhelmed by my experience. My friend and I did not even receive a greeting, much less any assistance, while we were there. We were absolutely ignored. The gallery salesperson literally sat looking at her computer the ENTIRE time we were there. She did not seem particulary busy; rather, she seemed to simply be surfing the net. I noticed that she also blatantly ignored a couple that came in right after us. This was my first experience of the kind in the great city of New Orleans. Sad. Step up that service game, folks. Very disappointed.
A must see gallery for all art lovers who find themselves in New Orleans. Catherine, the knowledgeable and vibrant young owner, has an eye for art and a gift for framing pieces to magnify their strength, while maintaining the vision and authenticity of the artist. The Elliott Gallery is a welcome oasis in the heart of the bustling French Quarter and carries a range of original artwork to prints—that range in affordability—so that all levels of art collectors can leave holding something they love. I look forward to stopping by again on my next visit to NOLA to see what new surprises the gallery has in store for me.
Fantastic experience from start to finish. I walked in one weekend and my wife fell in love with a Chagall while talking to Catherine. I did not see it, but weeks later when I called she remembered both my wife and the painting she was looking at. She took the time to not only ship it discreetly, but to also gift wrap it for our special day. One word experience, flawless. I will be back again.
Passionate and Professional! I have frequented this gallery many times and I am never let down. The owner has always take the time to educate me on the various pieces in her gallery. Even though I haven't purchased anything yet, I still receive the same amount of attention and respect. This is the kind of person you want to do business with!
This is my favorite gallery in the Quarter. Everytime I go, I'm treated well and I notice the same is true for everyone who walks through the door. The staff are very knowledgeable and always happy to educate and share their vast knowledge about the art and artists whose work they carry. Go see some stunning art by some of the 20th century masters.
By far my favorite art gallery in New Orleans. The owner is absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable about not only the art but the processes they use. Definitely worth a visit.
Catherine and BJ were two of the nicest people I met recently on an art related trip to New Orleans! Very helpful. Thanks y'all!
Great modern art gallery on Royal. Also, the gallery is available for private events if you are interested.
Live in Europe but visited Elliott GAllery several times in the past. Recently got back in touch and bought an original Nissan Engel media on paper artwork at Elliott Gallery. In one word a "splendid" experience. Catherine Betz 's professional way of "living" the art is amazing and gave me the confidence one needs buying art.
