DO NOT DO BUSINES WITH ADT!!! Their customer service sucks. They tricked me into upgrading because ADT Pulse was going away! This is a their party vendor. My camera system box quit working. James came in and said it was struck by lightning and it would cost me close to $900 to replace a box that I have only had since February. He didn't even remove the unit for closer inspection. The power buttons light up and he never even ask to see our phones we can get playback photos but not real time live!! I have talked to no less than 15 people and I am always forwarded to another office. They want to charge me $135 to send another tech it won't be James to clean-up after James. James is not a technician and is obviously a salesman who gets paid to screw customers! I am waiting 45 minutes, again, waiting for a callback from another unknown person! If you ask for a supervisor, you will never get one on the line!! DO NOT USE ADT Simplisafe is just as good for a lot less money!!
I have had mixed experiences with ADT in the past but I felt it necessary to leave this review for Mr. Jamie Christian who is the new district sales manager in this area. He reached out to me in an email asking what can ADT do to win my business. I already had an ADT system installed but was having a few issues which were not being resolved when calling customer service. I replied to Jamie's email and listed the three issues I was having. Without hesitation he called me, gathered all the information then went out and solved all the issues some of which were not in his area and gave me a month's monitoring fee credit. It was the best customer service I have ever experienced with ADT and I have been with them for 22 years. Thank you Jamie!
Warning*** Do not use this company! Do not sign their contract! They want 7,500.00 in cancelation fees! Their equipment hasn’t changed in 10 years! The Google mesh network is outdated! They even turned off their head unit when I canceled even though I purchased it! Personally I believe they engaged in financial manipulation to get me to continue the relationship! Use at your own risk!
If you want to be locked into a 5 year contract with zero customer support go for ADT. They are horrible at taking care of their customers needs and basically want you to become an alarm expert to fix your own issues.
Stay away! The worst. I was with this company for about 24 years. Then my service went down during a storm. THEY DID NOT KNOW THEY LOST COMMUNICATIONS WITH MY SYSTEM! When I called for service, it took 4 or 5 days to get someone here to try and fix it. When he showed up, he said it was gone, and couldn’t be repaired, and that someone should call me about replacing the unit. I waited a few days and no one called. I tried calling them several times only to be put on hold for 20 minutes or more each times me before being disconnected.
MY ALARM System DID NOT Work for years, Be careful with signing up with ADT. They do not care if you4 alarm system works or not. You will be unable to reach a person - I tried to cancel for Months. Phone calls 3+ hours then the person would drop the call! emails and messaging with them. They still charged me and will not credit back my last months bill.
STOP KNOCKING ON OUR DOOR. Relentless sales people driving to our house all the time to sell us a service we have declined repeatedly. Please leave us alone.
The only department that works in this company is the Billing Department! It used to be good until a few months ago when my system ran into a problem. I tried to call the customer service several times but couldn’t get connected with any live person. The machine put me on wait for almost an hour before I gave up. And I requested calling back and nobody called me back either. But the billing department did keep calling me when I missed payment.
I am very pleased Mario was my sales rep, he was outstanding! Very knowledgable, professional and helpful. He got me everything I wanted and was there all the way through the process. He even stopped by during the install to make sure everything was the way I wanted and answered all my questions. I highly recommend!
Leandro Hernandez was AWESOME! You can tell he is very passionate about what he does. I felt like he cared about the safety of my clients. I recommend him to anyone looking for security services!! Alex Lopez
