Zero stars, cameras don't pick up anything I need them to. I had a hit and run on my vehicle and it didn't even pick it up. Has been this was from the start. Did a virtual appointment the said yes he sees they aren't working right and sees its been happening the whole time that it's not my fault and i need a technician to come out but would be 59 dollars. I think not! I'll be figuring out how to cancel my contract. I've been paying high priced for product that doesn't even work.
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. We were over charged and decided to pay off our contract. And they are still billing us after we payed it off and canceled the contract. Stay away from ADT our you will be sorry.
I don't appreciate being harassed and gaslit by anyone, but especially not by an ADT door to door salesman who wouldn't stop knocking on my door and refused to acknowledge my no solicitor sign. Then decided to fight me about whether or not I should talk to him. Then essentially told me I'd be letting my neighbors down if I didn't talk to him. I kept repeating no soliciting and he would not leave my porch so I shut the door and waited for him to leave.
They have terrible customer service. I mean really terrible. We were customers for four years and when we called to cancel we got nothing but the runaround. They continue to charge our bank account even though we had canceled. Do not use ADT!
The products they supply do not work and are pieces of junk. They have supplied me with 2 panels and both have stopped working then they charge a $59 service fee to come out and replace them. Maybe they should provide products that work.
ADT took $143.00 out of our account without asking, and will not call us back or refund it- but rather credit our account. They called, needing to swap our Brinks system because of the old radio. Fine. As long as there's no charge. Fine. After the swap out- $143.00 bill hits. Not fine. And did not sign for that hit!! Called to refund it. They said gove it 10 days. No refund. Called again- was rejected and sorry but branch mgr will call you within 72 hours. No they didn't. Then I just called again and they are crediting it through monitoring each month? Now someone is supposed to really call me. They do not want me to have my money back it seems. Where is my faith in ADT at this point- there's not anymore. Please- before you tie yourself up with a 3 year contract with these people, get answers and take notes. Get reviews. Shop around. Ask everything. Or else.
0 Stars!!! Just bought my house, immediately put up a No Soliciting sign, and that means nothing to ADT. They just keep sending their goons. I already have a security system in place, with a ring doorbell, and they can see it, yet they still keep coming. I would never do business with an organization so terribly ran, and with such Gestapo like tactics. These door to door guys must be used to getting yelled at as well, because every time they knock, they move half way down the steps. Very shameful business practice!
update: ADT Contacted and said they would investigate. No calls for 6 days and now received 3 calls today alone ADT purchased a company call Sunpro Solar. Had a ADT tech out last week to fix something with my security system. Since that visit I've received 8 calls from this company in 48 hours. Told ADT Sunpro Solar to put me on their do not call list on call number 5. Called 3 more times that day. Called ADT support, they just transferred me to the Sunpro Solar. Reported to the BBB and Sunpro has been sued in the past for spam calls
Don't do it, pushy salesperson that says you can decide what you want to do and review the products if they send a technician out. Then when out they hand you an iPad to start signing a long contract, the technician couldn't answer questions about the contract when I asked... I was told two years but it's actually three. My technician couldn't install everything then, needed to call HVAC for an additional fee. The door alarms are annoying, only two options of a chime or robot saying door open. When we realized we didn't want this system there is only a three day window to cancel. So now we either have to pay 75% of three years to cancel or keep it. Also- even though my signed contract is now void because of their mistake, I still don't qualify to cancel and they want me to sign new docs. Really disappointing.
I have given ADT one star, because Google did not allow me to hit "Post" with 0 stars. First I called their number to try to get information about their products, and possibly even schedule a consultation. The salesperson was very knowledgeable, but just kept telling me EVERYTHING that ADT could POSSIBLY do. But any time I would ask a question or try to move the conversation along, he would say, "Well don't worry about it, the decisions will all be made once the on-site consultant is at your house." So basically, this person was wasting my time just so he could hear himself talk. I then saw that I had a coupon for ADT, so I thought "Maybe I will actually use their services." Then the salespeople started knocking on my door. I've had two here in the last week. The first one wasn't terrible, but the second was frankly obnoxious. He kept trying to ask personal questions to try to keep me talking, and when I said I would take his card and think about it, he suggested that I was throwing my money away by not working with him RIGHT NOW. So far, I've had three interactions with this company, and two of them have been in the top 10 of worst customer service experiences I can remember. And this is from salespeople. At this point, I consider ADT to be my last resort for security services.
