My battery died on me nearby, so I stopped in to have it checked. After checking it out for me, the agent informed me that it had a dead cell and that I needed a new battery. After my having purchased a new one, he installed it in my car for me and ensured that my car was properly charged. Great customer service and great conversation while doing so
Super nice and knowledgeable staff. By far the best auto parts store in Chester. Prices are average as is the cleanliness of the store. The management seems to be pretty good as most of the staff have been there for years.
Mikey was the absolute best for customer service. Honest quick and helpful got me in and out with everything I needed in minutes.
I came from out of town to visit3 hours distance and I needed to get an idler pulley that started to go out during my travels. I called another place that provided me with odd quotes on the part and different part styles, i.e. stating one has hardware and the other doesn't. Seriously, it's a pulley. The whole process of buying a pulley seemed complicated. Thankfully Roger, from Advanced Auto Parts, was able to assist and made the process easy and even asked a question the other place didn't which was, "Is the pulley smooth or grooved?" Wow, that was a smart question! Thanks for helping me Roger on getting the part I needed and not making it complicated. Asking me the right questions so I wouldn't worry about having to return it. And I also appreciate the reference to using Polo's as the mechanic to fix it. It was the second reference for that location and everything went smooth and I got home safely. Thanks a bunch! *smile
Stopped by to buy a new battery. Emory changed it out for me quickly and did a great job; he even cleaned up the terminals that were covered in corrosion from the old battery. The process was fast and easy.
I reached out to Chris here at this advanced to help me source a drum of DEF. I manage a warehouse that has numerous diesel vehicles and we were buying it by the gallon. Chris was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable as he was able to answer every question I had about automobiles. His help sourcing this drum for my company gave my warehouse over a cost saving of $800!!! The drum was at the branch in a very timely manner as promised by Chris, I was able to have my driver swing by and pick it up on his way back from a delivery, making our transaction flawlessly smooth allowing us to save more time and money. My experience with Chris and his associates will definitely bring my business back here and for the above reasons I recommend them to any one looking for knowledge and help this is your last stop. A+++++
Always very welcoming staff and ready to help as soon as customers walked in.
Had a weird noise when I turned the wheel and stopped by after noticing my power steering fluid was non-existent. Store associate was very friendly and even went outside, checked the fluid level to confirm what I saw, looked up the year/make/model of my car, and helped me pick a good fluid. He even refilled the reservoir for me and helped me double-check the fluid was working. Exceptional service! Definitely recommend.
My alternator died on 95S on the way to a vacation and I was able to get my car to this location. The guy who helped me was incredibly nice and patient with diagnosing my problem. He even tried to call a few repair shops. Great customer service-I'm sorry I don't remember his name, but it was a Thursday evening. If he's reading this- thank you so much! If his boss is reading this-he deserves a raise! :
Clean, neat store. Very helpful considerate polite customer service. Kinda stinks that Advance Auto employees are not allowed to help folks anymore, besides batteries and wipers. Makes it very hard for physically disabled folks who need just a little help. Understand the reasoning, but I think it's a little too tight.
