this store needs to be shut down. literally a hazard to walk through the isles. boxes and trash everywhere. shelves not stocked. rude cashier. went to the register she had left to the bathroom with a line in the store. when it was my turn she was coughing so much and had the audacity to tell me “you don’t have to wear a mask in the store”…..WHATTTT i ignored her and proceeded to put my stuff on the counter. asked her for a bag and said “i’m already doing that” nasty attitude. for the rest of the transaction she kept talking with her coworker that was even on the clock. transaction ended she had a pile of receipts she hadn’t give out on the floor. i grabbed mine and they were falling and she snatched it from my hand. someone fire her. so ghetto.
All of the employees were exceedingly polite. However the Hispanic male so-called manager was incredibly rude. The store was jammed with blocked aisles and broken shelves. Since I couldn’t take my cart out my sweet little cashier said that someone would help me out with my bags because I’m handicapped. As I waited patiently the manager comes up and says we’re doing business that’s what keeps the store going you’re just gonna have to wait. I said I never said one word about how long the wait was. He growls where are your bags and when that little cashier handed them to him he followed me out to my car and just dropped them from 2 feet up onto the ground . When I called him on it he informed me that he is the manager and I am not welcome back. As if I would ever shop there again anyway. Used to love the store now I will go miles out of my way to go somewhere else
Got to the store at 9:38, there was a worker at the door not letting anyone in. Signs and google clearly say they close at 10

Always my go to store. I don't live too far and before I went I never would had chosen this store. Now I have been and I am there at least 2, 3 times a day just about for everyday odds and ends. I do my grocery shopping here now. Such amazing prices love the $1 row lol. I did a lot of my 2019 Christmas Shopping here as well the prices are unbeatable. They don't carry everything that Walmart would have but let me tell u it's pretty darn close. They also always have new and upcoming products. Not only new and upcoming products all your go tos everyone always loves. The staff is also so incredible they know me by name at this point and they treat you so well since the first day I shopped here.
I always go to buy my cleaning supplies for my house and drinks, candy, and even detergent and softener whenever I don't have enough time to go to the big store like Walmart. But today as I walked in the cashier spoke thru the intercom saying I had to go back because I couldn't go inside store with my purse/backpack. I walked back to the entrance and asked why.? If I always come to the store with my purse which looks like a small backpack- but that's what I use on the daily!!! She didn't care, and with and attitude she said I couldn't go inside store with my bag and I shouldn't have NEVER BEEN LET INSIDE STORE WITH IT. THIS HAPPENED IN: 2151 S. CHESTER AVE BAKERSFIELD CA 93304
They have a charging port infront of the store. It was super convenient to grab a little power before finishing my bike ride. The manager greeted me politely, I was very surprised I didn't get told to leave. Well played Family Dollar.. and thank you

Langley is a class act who went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I definitely appreciate the time she took, over the phone, to make sure items were in the store before I made the drive!
Today I went Saturday 24, 2021 around 5pm and this guy Artemio the cashier was great super amazing customer service,he really make me change my mind in regards of this store I definitely will go back .
