I came to Dr Patel with severe jaw pain, ear pain, migraines, and difficulty eating without pain. After wearing my appliance for 1 week I’ve noticed a huge change! No jaw pain, ear pain, and headaches have subsided tremendously. The appliance is very manageable and I’ve only experienced some normal soreness. I’ve struggled with jaw pain for as long as I can remember and felt hopeless that I would ever feel better, Dr. Patel has changed that! I’m very grateful for Dr. Patel and his amazing team!!

I started treatment with Dr. Patel three months ago after being in pain and discomfort for almost ten years.  My jaw was always fatigue and I had pain, popping and clicking when I chewed. I also got frequent headaches which I had no idea were related to my jaw issues.  After the first week on treatment my pain was gone and I have not had a headache since. Also, My sleep has drastically improved and I feel I am able to breathe better while sleeping. Thank you Dr. Patel for giving me my quality of life back!  I have to say the staff at Suburban TMJ and Sleep Center are top notch!  They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and cared for!

Dr. Patel and his entire staff are some of the kindest and most empathetic healthcare workers in the field. I came to them after years of jaw pain and migraines and they resolved every issue and concern within only a few months of seeing them. It is almost bittersweet to no longer have regular visits, but I appreciate everything the staff has done for me. Their communication was excellent and they always made me feel welcome and free to ask questions. I would recommend them time and time again to anyone looking for some relief.

This was the best treatment I have received. The staff was so knowledgeable and kind. Very pleasant place to be. It was a short recovery period for me and my jaw issues were fixed within 2 months and it feels completely normal again. The office is also very comfortable and the decoration is phenomenal.

Dr Patel and his staff have helped me so much it has changed my life. I know it sounds cliche, but I had headaches every day, jaw pain, neck pain and difficulty opening my mouth, and these are all gone. I never thought I would be rid of the daily headaches since I have had them for so many years but I finally have relief. Anyone who has a lot of headaches knows that this alone can be a life changer. But I can now also open my mouth and eat without pain, and eat things I couldn't, like apples and crusty bread. Amazing! If you have TMJ or undiagnosed jaw pain, you need to see Dr Patel. I just wish I went sooner.

Here’s the deal, I’ve been a TMJ sufferer along w migraine headaches for some 20 years.  The thing is, the jaw pain was so extreme that I couldn’t eat anything  that needed chewing  for a month.  I was put on meds that helped a lot,  and I could carry on w raising my children and taking my university classes.  The pain was sporadic but came back full force 2+ years ago.  I was referred to Dr H, Patel for TMJ treatment. I heard he was the one to see for this problem.  Well, he saw me as soon as I could come in.  Dr. Patel is kind, listens well, explains the treatment and explains the payment options.  The staff is so happy and they go beyond to make one comfortable.  The office is clean and welcoming.  I have only good things to say.  After my retainer was fit, I could tell the TMJ pain was receding.  It is a remarkable difference within the first week.  I am so very much impressed, and I’m happy.  My life happiness quotient has remarkably increased and I will tell others of my good fortune.  Dr. Patel is a National Treasure.

In early 2023, I started developing pain in my jaw that was radiating into my ear. I was in hopes it would go away, but it did quite the opposite. Over a short period of time, not only did the pain worsen, but my jaw started to crack when I opened and closed my mouth.  In May of 2023, I decided that something had to be done.I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Hitesh Patel at Suburban TMJ and Sleep Center in Naperville. When I arrived for my appointment, I was impressed with the beautiful office and how friendly and professional the staff was. When I met Dr. Patel, I could tell right away that he was very passionate and knowledgeable of his profession. He made me feel very comfortable and gave me hope. Well, I was right... Within days of my first visit, my jaw pain was almost completely gone and it continues to improve every day. I highly recommend Dr. Patel. His treatment was life changing for me and I cannot thank him enough.

I am very grateful for Dr. Patel and his staff. I had no idea the severity of my TMJ issues and I'm so glad that I sought treatment here because my pain has already decreased drastically and I've only had my appliance for about 2 months and I felt less pain even within the first week. It's amazing to have some pain relief when I thought I would just have to deal with it for the rest of my life. Highly recommend Dr. Patel and Suburban TMJ and Sleep Center!

So much to say but I will try to keep it short. I came to see Dr. Patel in 2017 because I had many issues with my jaw. He knew right away what i had and what was needed and explain to me what he would do to help me feel better. Unfortunately, I did not follow thru because of the high costs of the mouth piece. After trying other “helpful” things nothing seemed to work and I decided to go back. I now have to say…. “ I made the best decision ever” I decided to put myself first and start the treatment. I couldn’t continue living feeling awful every day, not sleeping well, not eating good and always worry about when my jaw could lock again. My jaw doesn’t pop/click when I eat anymore headaches are not present either and I feel way better now. My advice to you is to not wait to get treated like I did. Get it done. Treatment WORKS!!

I came in with lock jaw and was barely able to open my mouth. After retainers and multiple visits for almost a year and a half, I have no pain anymore and I am able to fully open my mouth with no problem!! What a life saver! I am glad that I made the decision to attend this TMJ center filled with the most kind and hard working people that were able to fix my jaw.
