So happy I use CAP Dental. Always warm, friendly and caring. This visit I met new hygienist Grace. She too was warm and friendly, plus knowledgeable and shared excellent tips for improving dental health. God bless this wonderful team.
Had my teeth cleaning with RDH, Grace. She is very patient and detail-oriented to answer my questions. When applying fluoride treatment, she reminds me the exact treatment time so I can avoid eating or drinking within 30 minutes. Good experience!
There are many reasons for not going to this clinic any more: They lie purposely. My 8 and 10 year old boys did teeth cleanings. Both hygienists told me that they would let me in right after the boys' X ray I confirmed with front desk, because they didn’t kept me out for X ray before, so I was concerned , but none of them called until after 10 minutes. By then, cleaning was finished. Even my son was surprised that he got finished in such a speedy way. When I tried to see my 8-year old son he needed a sealant, that took another 5 minutes, they literally yelled. They lie to keep me out from seeing the way they work on kids. Lack of work ethic. On my son’s last visit, I was in the room while the hygienist was doing cleaning. He roughly brushed my son’s teeth with his eyes wondering around, no intention of checking and removing tartar, stains, or paying attention to my son’s teeth. So I couldn’t trust him to do sealants for my son’s molars. I wanted Dr. Joy to help. She finished with an attitude in her eyes that a face musk can not cover. Is that the reason they lie to kept me out from seeing my kids this time ? I keep 2 stars, because regardless of services, ethics and attitude, Dr. Joy had the work done, she did filling for my teeth too, and Dr. Chen did a great job years ago for my son, treated him with care and attention. That’s the only reason we decided to purchase their membership to do regular cleaning. But I was disappointed that they could not keep up the good service standards, encountering different hygienists every time. You don’t know whether or not you will be landing on a good pair of hands. I know Dr. said their staff are well trained with licenses, but skill is one thing, and work ethic is another. When I went to CAP dental for my own teeth cleaning, 2 people positioned at my sides, tools rushed into my mouth together, felt like a thunderstorm was happening inside of my mouth, winds blowing, water pouring, breaking branches poking here and there. I still find plaque when I floss at night. Overall, the experience of their teeth cleaning service was rushed without attention, both for me and my kids. I received a follow-up call about the $$$ dental implant plan. Because of what I experienced, I hesitated to trust a team that pay less attention to routine tooth care but pursued high-profit major work to do my implant. Compare to the clinic I’m using for my implant now. CAP dental didn’t charge any less, but services are cold and behind. 3 stars off for the stuff I would take 8 stars out of 10 if I could when I was doing a filling at CAP dental, the assistant was whipping the tub inside of my mouth so cruelly and carelessly, that I had to stop her twice because of unbearable discomfort. I feel they treated me like an object instead of a patient. Overall experiences, the front desk, no warm welcome, curt, show little but contempt for patients. Above are experiences we had with CAP dental for about 4 years. The services were good before the office was renovated. Now they have a beautiful place, but not a very beautiful service. I still have the membership for their teeth cleaning, but I’d rather waste the rest of my money than visit again. As an adult, I understand this is just a business, not a big deal for fewer services. But as a mom, trying to block parents away from kids is unacceptable. This is the fact. All explanations are excuses.
Grace the hygienist did amazing and was very gentle. She made sure to check if I was ok throughout my cleaning.
Grace cleaned my teeth today. Very nice! Careful, gentle, and friendly. Scheduled next appointment with her.
I am very happy with the service at CAP Dental Care. Everyone there is very pleasant. My experience with Dr. Joy and staff has been five stars! I had a filling replaced this week and now no more pain. Also, thank you to Anna, Dr.Joy's assistant who did a great job too!
This place is the worst dental clinic you can find. The service, the attitude, and the overall experience. I would recommend you to find another clinic. At least that is what I will do for my family.
Second time going here for my dental concerns. First time was about my super sensitivity of one tooth. The tooth was sensitive to heat or cold and gave me sores, I did filling at other dentist and the doctor said I might need to do crowns and/or drills, etc. My tooth was just super sensitive. It shouldn’t be the cause of pains/sores. So I went to see Dr. Joy here, did X-ray, Dr Joy proscribed me some ibuprofens for a week or two and problem solved. Second time was cleaning, Azalia was so nice, I definitely will go to her but I prefer Saturdays and unfortunately she doesn’t take the shifts.
Iam so grateful for the hygienist taking good care of me I hope her future is Brite as my smile lol
I visited CAP dental as a new patient and really enjoyed everything. Typically dentist visits are not the most pleasant but the staff at CAP are awesome. From the polite and accommodating ladies at the front desk, to the dental assistants and doctors - all of the staff were great. They gave thorough explanation, gave advice and took their time. So glad I found my new dentist office!
