If I could leave no stars I would. They cancel your appt with out calling you. The staff is beyond rude and careless except the front desk Ladies are wonderful. Dr. Dann could care less about his patients. Because of his lack of doing the job he is very over paid for one of my clients ended up being hospitalized with a massive infection. Please I beg you do not bring your loved ones here. You will end up in the hospital because they just want your money. And they DO NOT CARE . They only see money when they see you.
Dr Melanagro is excellent! So is his staff. Makes sure you understand everything before you leave. These people complaining have no idea what they are talking about!
Dr. Is great! Office staff is lazy, and would rather talk over people than, to listen. Nurse on duty was threatening. Needless to say, was enough to leave a bad taste.
After suffering severe pain about 2 hours after a cysto, with a "new scope" that the nurse raved about how they can schedule patients every 15 minutes instead of every 45 because the new scope is disposable, , and after calling the office stating I was in severe pain, they wanted me to take a urine test. I told them it would not show anything because I was on antibiotics. They blew me off. I took the urine test. of course, nothing showed up. They refused any treatment. After calling daily and complaining that I believed I had severe Interstitial cystitis, one week and 1 day later the nurse tells me the Dr. wants me to see my primary care because he "doesn't believe my pain is related to the cysto. Read all the reviews and be aware.
I would put less than one star if I could. Never did get to see a doctor. The staff who makes appointments are awful. I have been calling and have been told they would get back to me for a month now. Still no appointment. Very disappointed and will NEVER call this office again. I called another Urology office and got an appointment with no problem. They should take more care in hiring their staff.
Had an appointment with the Urologist, arrived 5 minutes early. Shown into the examining room and told that "the doctor would be in shortly". 45 minutes later after having the lights go out on me twice while waiting, I decided to leave. I received a certified letter essentially "firing" me as a patient and accusing me of "rude and acceptable" behavior. Really? I don't mind waiting a short while- even longer if someone comes in to tell me that the doctor was detained- but to be left in a room to wait, as if my time is of no consequence, and then for him to have the gall to send me that certified letter... I know it's a "cover his butt" letter, but still smacks of the kind of arrogance and demagoguery that many physicians have adopted as their due.
I was referred to see a urologist from AdventHealth Centra Care Palm Coast, I then called AdventHealths referral phone number and was told the contact information for the Advanced Urology Institute, Palm Coast. I contacted the office and explained my referral and was told the referral documents needed to be faxed to them or I could bring them to the office my self. I drove to the office with the referral documents and was told I could not bring them in myself they had to be faxed. Someone lied to me? So I went home called AdventHealth referral service back and they told me they would fax the documents to the urology institute. This was Monday am 9/6/2020 and was told if I did not hear from the urology institute by 3 pm to call them. I called the next day 9/7/2020 and was told nothing arrived for me. I called AdventHealth referral service back and explained once again my referral situation and they called the urology institute back on my behalf but no one would answer their call. On 9/14/21 I tried to contact Advanced Urology office to find out when I could get an appointment but the call was disconnected twice when the call finally went through after waiting 10 minutes and no answered I hung up and called AdventHealth referral service back and explained to them they should not give people a referral to them because it seems they do not want to see new patients. After hanging up I called Florida Urology Center and had an appointed two days later. My reviews has nothing to do with the doctors that practice there because I could not get an appointment to see one It has to do with the office staff that sets your appointment. They could use customer service training. If you are not already a patient there I would suggest you go somewhere else.
Upon my arrival at this of this the staff was absolutely amazing and welcoming. The doctor was very compassionate relatable and understanding made me feel very secure in the steps moving forward in my treatment I would recommend to anyone love the staff!!!
Cared for my snow bird dad, staff was excellent, even had the extra long catheter for his unique needs. Excellent surgical outcome.
They put “x-ray order” when it was really an order for a ct scan so I have to change my entire months schedule because they don’t know how to word their documents and make patients aware that it takes 2-3 days for insurance to approve for a ct scan.
