Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The campground offers tent sites, RV sites, and Cabin and RV rentals. There is a beautiful lake on site for fishing and kayaking. If you don't have your own kayak to bring, the campground offers paddle boat and kayak rentals. There's also a pavilion where live music plays in the evenings, a playground, a gaga ball pit, and a swimming pool. There are plenty of bathroom/shower houses throughout the park...although some are in need of repair. The campground office has a well-stocked store of late night treats and often forgotten camping necessities such as hygiene items and beach gear. The campground is approximately 35 minutes from Cooperstown which is the home of The Baseball Hall of Fame Museum, DoubleDay Field, The Farm Museum which is great for kids and adults and a fantastic restaurant with excellent service called The Blue Mingo that overlooks Ostego Lake make sure to stop by their souvenir shop for quality souvenirs after grabbing a bite to eat. The only negative I found about this campground is that their sites are a bit too close together for my liking but, overall, Adventure Bound is a nice campground for the money and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Going to Cooperstown? This is your go to destination for family fun, from the beautiful lake to the awesome arcade, large pool it’s everything and more that you would expect from a campground. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Disregard all negative reviews you’re at a campground not the Westin hotel in Manhattan.
Cute campground! A ton of things for children to do, cabins were kept super clean and have plenty of space! The only negative I would say, is that the campground almost feels over crowded, almost over populated so it makes for little to no privacy.
Moldy deck, glasses that were disgusting, a firepit with left over food, beer cans in it marshmallows all around it, a grill that u had to go outside around your deck to end if cabin to cook on, a lamp that didn't work, mattresses in the bunk room that were horrendous and looked like they were from a jail cell, the wagon ride that they say they have is to go to one end of the park and bk. No trails. The tractor was so old that guests had to wait for it to be jumped by a truck on Monday morning 8/19/19. We also rented a gold cart for the time we were their and the first golf cart they gave us wasn't even supposed to be rented out as it was dead the day before and no one bothered to inform anyone of it so they give it to us. When it died in front of my husband truck I walked back up to the office and informed the 2 young highschool girls behind the counter. They said that it wasn't supposed to be rented out and gave us another one. I asked if someone was going to get the dead one and they informed me it would be taken care of by 7pm. Of course no one showed up. Next morning it was still there. We had to push it out of the way. After coming back from Baseball Hall of Fame it was still there. Also when you list that there is cable available it doesn't mean 2 channels come in and the rest are snowy pictures and also do not advertise that u have wifi when u do not! You are lucky if you get connected to it and if you do you you have to be dwn by their pavilion and sit there. Also the call it Crystal Lake?? It is not a lake more like a big pond!! You cant even swim in it. According to the girl thatvwas there when we left 2 days early, she said the water was tested a few weeks ago and just this past week with bad stuff found in the water. They also can't even afford to upgrade the chairs they leave for there guests. Yes we brought our own, but the chairs were also full of mold, and rusting. For $300 a night they are a rip off! That price also does not include the golf cart rental and if u want to kayak or rent one of their row boats, they charge you for that as well. I mean don't u think that should be free for your guests?!! When I went online and booked their site is not very clear. We wanted a deluxe cabin with loft that is shown on their website and now we didn't get it. I also put money dwn to make sure we got that specific one and didn't. Oh and their arcade room is awful. Have games don't work or they are from the 80s. I highly recommend not going to this resort!!! My husband has more pictures on his phone. We checked in on 8/18/19 with a reservation until Wednesday 8/21/19 and we left not even 24hrs after we checked in. We will demand some of our money back!!!
Great Experience! Super friendly and helpful staff! We visited during off season, my only negative was the laundry located at the top of a hill. Quite the walk up hill. The washing machine was fine, the dryers did not do a very good job, probably would have to pay for 2 cycles to get dry clothes. Overall excellent experience, truly enjoyed our time at the Jellystone.
Great Staff, poor ownership... this place is poorly maintained and seriously outdated... don't expect a signal on Verizon, AT&T, TMobile or their ancient wifi .005mbps Truly hard review to give but as a Google Local Guide and rep for @familyfunact I have to say it lacks ownership investment and attention to detail and I will not return, the website is misleading and location run down... the gem is the staff, the staff is Amazing, friendly and accommodating. This place has things to do, more on the weekend as we found weekdays to be a bit empty and less active, but staff organized activities are diverse and fun, the facility has a few rental options for the lake that is not swimmer friendly and paddle carts and a fair fun zone with a good play area. This place could be a go to with some changes and investment, also proper disclosure of their "deluxe cabins" being a trailer and not a cabin...
Was great. What a paddle boat ride for $5 for 30 minutes. That's a great deal. The kids have so much fun. Swimming in pool and walking to store. They also have a arcade but so of the games don't work. They take your money and don't work. It was nice to get away. The 2 bed cable was very nice.
I’m a seasonal camper of almost 2 years and will not be returning next season. Yes the staff is great for the most part. The price they are charging is outrageous for sub par facilities and ver poorly maintained roads. Many more cons. I would not recommend becoming a seasonal camper here or visiting on a holiday weekend.
Was very disappointed with this place. They put campers in places that don't fit on sites. They don't care if it blocks others in. Store was never open when the times stated on the open sign. Very high prices and you don't get anything that special. Will not go back.
MANGER Danielle and co-worker CHARLIE are up to no good if I was the owner I would be worried , so unprofessional the way they speak to ppl and why would management drive around hammered on the businesses golf cart recklessly almost crashing into my neighbors and she’s always at different sites partying , thought when you are a manager or part of management everybody’s treated equal and you shouldn’t be at other peoples sites on the clock getting hammered unprofessional but put the owner and Director of operations must feel it’s all right , Let’s just say I’ve been camping there for about 19-20 years and that place is going down it might as well be the new Berlin dump .glade I decided to leave that place
