My daughter has been doing gymnastics here for five years now. The coaches really care about each child. The staff have always been kind and supportive. The owners are outstanding people and have created a very positive environment and atmosphere to learn the art of gymnastics. I couldn’t imagine my child going anywhere else. My daughter can’t wait to go to the gym each week!!! She’s truly advancing in the competitive gymnastics and making lots of friends. I highly recommend AEG!
My daughter had been attending this facility for quite sometime and still attends. This review is specifically about the OWNER and not the facility itself. Every coach has been awesome, however I've NEVER experienced this amount of disrespect to the point where I had to use profanity. She said "I DON'T NEED YOUR BUSINESS" after I explained to her that I'm a parent that budgets for my daughter gymnastics. It was extremely Rude, and i honestly feel the remark was made in a RACIST manner. my daughter loves this place, but I'm currently looking for an alternative option.. TRUST ME, IF YOU A BLACK MOM, DO NOT GO HERE!!!
I brought my daughter here about a year ago, to the Twinkle Stars class and I’ve been waiting to write a review since I didn’t want to just write out of frustration/anger from our final class. Overall I found the class to be far more structured than I would expect for two year olds, although other kids in the class were more engaged in the class than my daughter. She was very distracted by the other kids on other equipment and everything around. She wasn’t ready to take turns or wait to go through the different obstacle courses as was expected. We did it for a month before we cancelled our membership since it didn’t meet my expectations for what a fun class would be and it just didn’t seem like a good fit. Additionally, we had a lovely experience with coach Katie…. however when Coach Peggy filled in was when I finally realized this facility/class wasn’t the right fit for my daughter. Since at the end of class when I was thanking coach Peggy for being patient with my daughter, she actually asked if my daughter was autistic. I was so caught off guard by this comment and after some reflection cancelled our enrollment. In hindsight, my daughter probably wasn’t ready for this class at the time of enrollment, she probably would have been more prepared at 2.5. I highly recommend checking out a facility that’s geared more towards pre-schoolers if you’re looking for socialization/fun for your younger child. We found another facility/program that’s alittle farther for us, but it’s been a much better fit and I’ve been able to see my daughter truly flourish in that environment versus be expected to fit in a box/future gymnastic stereotype like I felt here.
I am extremely happy with the experience we are receiving with this gym. My girls are 7 and 9. They both currently have Coach Dale. He is a phenomenal first experience. His guidance is encouraging, funny and personable. He connects with the kids and notices their strengths and weaknesses quickly. He is not scared to tell them “you can do it” “try it again” and create a healthy competitive environment. My girls are very sensitive and hard on themselves. They will cry from frustration of not getting something right away, but Coach Dale has never seen a tear from them. I think this is due to his fun demeanor and joking spirit. We have yet to have a negative experience here and it’s been about 2 months since we’ve started. I’m also the director for Bundle of Joy in Bell Creek and we love taking our school agers there for field trips. The kids have so much fun and it’s always an anticipated field trip.
I’m going here on Monday and my best friend is in the same class as me and she says it’s amazing. Great quality coaches.
My daughter had a great experience with Coach Katie, but I’m giving 1 star because of billing. I had to cancel our membership and was treated in a very rude and condescending way. I was a bit shocked. Still am. I sent my son here before the pandemic and had such a pleasant experience then. I would NOT recommended this business today however.
Amazing staff and facility! Such a positive learning experience for children to learn and grow for what it takes to win and how to bounce back from defeat. This was our first sport for our daughter and she has so much enjoyment learning from all the coaches/teammates at AE. She learned how to enter competition, achieve the next goal, and enjoy an athletic lifestyle. The coaches care about the athletes, encourage having fun, properly place them based on skill-level, and are excellent at bringing out the best in each athlete. Whether you're looking for minimal commitment or daily commitments AE has a path for your child. Highly recommend this gym for any child looking to start or continue gymnastics.
Buyer beware. Our family had a unpleasant experience with Aerial East Gymnastics. We purchased a fairly expensive outfit from their "pro store" only to find out that it was to small for our daughter. When we tried to return or exchange the never worn outfit, we were informed of a company policy that any item with the tags removed would not qualify for a refund. The employee at the front desk was quite short and unhelpful during our attempt to return the ill fitting item. I wrote the owner who referred me to the "manufacturers return policy" as their own because apparently all the garments they sell are on consignment from the manufacturer. This policy is not posted anywhere in the store and we were not informed of this policy when we bought the outfit. We removed our daughter from the classes at Aerial East Gymnastics and will not spend any more of our hard earned money at this business. It's sad to see local business preying on the very community that supports it.
We had a terrible experience at Aerial Gymnastics. We signed our granddaughter up for summer camp, with the hope that she would want to take gymnastic classes. They advertised LOTS of activities and allowed our 4 yr. old granddaughter to attend. We were told they were understaffed that week, and said campers would be watched by the lady at the front desk while they did color sheets. Our granddaughter was left unsupervised in the lobby and met her mom at the door at pickup. There was no secure drop-off/pickup procedure. They would have had no idea she was even gone if my daughter hadn’t alerted them. The worst part of the experience was when we talked with the staff they were rude and completely dismissive of our concerns. They just gave us conflicting excuses that were blatantly dishonest and that so far they haven’t had a problem. It took three weeks for the owner to speak with us and it was more of the same excuses. The only consistent message they gave us is that they have a “NO REFUND” policy. It was evident that they care more about the money, than the children.
