Honestly, this place has had a huge impact in my life in such a short amount of time! I thought I loved working out until I tried out AKS and realized I found a new love, not only for exercise, but for a new lifestyle. Coach Nick is amazing and is seriously one of the best coaches/teachers/instructors I have ever come across. He is extremely patient and actually cares about the well-being of every person that walks through the doors, not just memberships. As soon I walked into AKS I felt right at home and I have seen major improvements in my life aside from weight loss but it has greatly improved my overall health and mental wellness. I could not have been more blessed to come across AKS!!!
I have been trying to find some out of school activity that my son would enjoy. We found it. Coach is wonderful with the children. He makes sure they are respectful and kind to each other. When they are awarded a new stripe or belt he let's them know where they have excelled and where they need improvement. I am very impressed with his teaching skills with these young children.
Great place to learn kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu both for adults and kids. The coach is professional, patient and supportive. It is a great group of kids and adults that support each other in learning and improving each other's skills. Myself, teenage daughter and 5yr old son take classes. My husband should be starting soon. I'm so glad we found AKS!
Welp what can I say about this place. I have been with AKS since they opened there first studio where you can barely walk around. Seeing this great place grow rapidly is incredible. As soon as you walk in they treat you like family. Coach Nick has helped me with Kickboxing but has also helped me personally. For the 4+ years I've been with him he has been like a father figure. I truly recommend this place.
Super dope place for learning Brazilian jiu jitsu. I have been going a month now and every class is very informative. Nick is super helpful and patient as there is lots to learn still. I recommend aks for anyone looking to get better in kickboxing or jiu jitsu. extremely great learning environment that also pushes you to be better. Everyone is super respectful and kind.
Was looking for a structured yet fun sport for my 8 yr old. After researching many options we decided to take advantage of the complimentary class and check out Affinity. Coach Nic made us feel welcome from the minute we walked in. He is truly an amazing teacher. Fun, and engaging, but also keeps the kids on task. He requires respect, cooperation and effort to be a part of his classes. Nothing worse than paying hard earned $$ and valuable time just to have it be a free for all. We can all do that at home for free. Lol. Hours are good, place is always spotless and Nic is top notch. Check it out. You won't be sorry.
Can’t say enough about this place!! Nick the owner makes this place, kickboxing and Jiu jitsu so APPROACHABLE. Nicks teaching is amazing: great with kids and adults alike, incredibly knowledgeable, personable, breaks everything down until it’s understandable, doesn’t put unnecessary pressure on you and is very encouraging. The community here is so easy to fit into regardless of your level of experience or fitness. Highly suggest you check this place out!
