It’s good, sort of feels smallish compared to some other parks I’ve been to. For example, I like the Arlington TX Six Flags Over Texas slightly more. Medusa is a great warm up ride, having a good blend of speed, smoothness, and g-forces. The Superman and Batman rides are a touch more intense, and both excel in different ways. Superman has the speed and a “flight” feel. Batman is crazy in all the different forces, and seems to fit Batman’s style. I was excited about trying Flash but… closed. Same for Wonder Woman, also down for maintenance once we got in line. Joker is the most bonkers, and turns it all up to 11. When we went, this one had the longest line by far. If you’re in the area and have the time… wow. Check it out Bathrooms were clean. The food at Johnny Rockets was actually good, the Burger and chicken strips didn’t task like park food :-
This place have lots of potential. If they make everything new and put more rides and more of there rides to be active. I promise more people will come. This park is kinda sad. Most rides are not working and everything looks really old. Please bring the park back to live so more people can enjoy it. I hate to see parks likes this look like this. Although they do have some cool animals.
Absolutely wonderful! The park has so many accommodations for people with special needs. My daughter had fractured her hip and can’t stand or walk for long periods, and my son has severe Tourette’s, making going out sometimes very difficult. The line for an ADA pass was long, but a worker heard my son getting louder and louder and helped us immediately. The workers at every ride were polite, friendly and were mostly all smiles! And very patient! I actually lost my ADA pass, but the worker could see my daughter was in a wheel chair and let them right on the ride while I got another pass. With the ADA pass they had little wait times which made it possible for us to go! If it wasn’t for this pass we wouldn’t be able to go. Most workers looked at the pass and let us right on! They didn’t make us feel uncomfortable for using the pass! Only downside… food is pretty horrible and overpriced and very long wait times…. But again the staff was very friendly. Only problem we had… I could see my daughter and she needed help, but where she was, was turned into an exit, from the last five minutes I was with her… He staff would not let me go up to help her… they made me walk a mile around to where she was… and actually laughed that I had to do that… so although most workers were amazing, these 2 women had no empathy or compassion. So six flags still has work to do with a few employees! Thank you for a great time six flags! Also after the dolphin show they let my son hang out five minutes and interact with the dolphins! My son rarely uses his words and all he could talk about when he got home, was how he got to train the dolphins… it really made his night and it will be an experience he will always remember! They were awesome with him. Also FYI, I couldn't find any family restrooms...My son is a wonder and needs a companion with him at all times, so he had to use the female restrooms...
The kids had fun when they were tall enough for the rides which was a bit of a problem last year. They really enjoyed the animal show which got cut short due to the weather unfortunately, but the park was nearly empty so it was well worth visiting. Consider the price and don't expect much given how cheap it is compared to other major brands or even other six flags parks, and you won't be disappointed.
This place is over priced. If you get there right when they open the lines aren’t too bad. But as the day goes on the lines get longer and slower. They shut down rides with people still in line and don’t say anything to anyone. The food is horribly over priced and very bad. They don’t have very many smaller easier rides for people or small kids who don’t like the big crazy ones. Some of their attractions were shut down. The animal shows were amazing though! Watching the dolphins and seals perform was a beautiful sight.
There wasn’t any long lines that really needed the flash pass besides Superman which was my favorite ride there. It is cheaper to buy online that way you know what day is available including on blackout dates. We were able to feed sea lions with a purchase of food and see the other animals availableVisited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$31+
I read multiple reviews and still decided to give the park a try. The three pictures is what I was looking for on the six flags website. Simple and helpful for the day. The app was helpful 80 percent of the time in regards to the wait times on the rides and locating the food shops. I wish there was a filter of what is open and closed that would be updated through out the day. The wait times on the different rides helped us navigate and plan the day out better. The four stars are for six flags having a lot of the closed rides working this weekend for Father’s Day. The shows were a good break from the adrenaline pumping rides. It is good to see the staff optimistic for the future of the park.
Was a good day to ride. Superman and a few others closed. Stopped and ordered food across from Batman and joker rides. “Big Belly Burger”. Took them 20min it’s to take an order infront of us. I literally downloaded the app placed my order and registered my credit card by time they finished with the family in front of us. After our order they asked for my receipt so they could figure out the order. Gave us our two adult drinks and tried to give us our two kids meals and say they gave us the drinks already. Then after that one of our kids meals only had a burger. They didn’t give us the fruit cup or a utensil. No salt for fries. Don’t plan on eating at the tables they have speakers volume to the max. So uncomfortable even at the farthest table. 5pm and sitting on wonder women wait to buckle in for 10minutes now. Has us waiting but also telling others they can’t ride cause they are closing the rides. Park closes at 6 and rides shutdown at 5. Just say you close at 5 to the public then or ride till 6pm.
I understand Covid must have hit the economy of this park hard, but it really needs a makeover. It’s tired, dirty and needs a clean up and a lick of paint. A lot of attractions are still closed, food options are just junk food and long lines, nothing healthy available. The animals look depressed and enclosures look old and withered. We appreciated the staff that were working, you could tell they were getting by being short staffed probably a reason so many attractions are closed it’s an amazing location and could be a phenomenal experience, six flags just needs to invest back into it before it becomes really bad.
It was fun except that for it only being the 3rd week in July and so many rides closed for the season and/or just closed that day especially the newest ride just introduced this summer and it was closed is ridiculous. You pay money to go and ride the rides and experience everything the park has to offer especially during the summer when EVERY RIDE SHOULD BE OPEN. You just had 2 years to get everything in properly working order and time to spruce the place up a bit while cleaning and making it covid friendly. Seeing the dolphin show with huge chunks of paint missing from the cement stage area made it look old, dated and gave the feeling that if they don't take care of the facility with basic paint then how well are the animals taken care of?
