The Airport Grille is an intimate upscale American bistro framed within a modern architectural setting and a warm relaxing environment. We craft our fare using the freshest local produce and seafood. We also have a great selection of steaks and chops. Our extensive wine list is carefully selected to compliment our dishes and make your dining experience more enjoyable and memorable. We also offer a "layover" menu at the bar for our guests who only have time for a quick stop.

This is a fantastic place for food and drinks. You will be as surprised as me the first time you come in. Super cool vibe right on the runway. Our server was Jasmin, she was fantastic and made lots of suggestions. We had the chowder and Mac attack pizza. The chowder was my favorite with bits of chorizo. Give this hidden gem a try some time.
Upscale American style fare at the New Bedford, MA Airport with great views of departing and arriving aircraft! Fully-stocked bar for non-pilots and a full menu with something for everyone. The food is definitely good and the staff are friendly and attentive. As if that's not enough, they have great outdoor dining space when weather allows, and bring the kiddos and enjoy the playground adjacent to the restaurant! Very nicely done!
Rodeo burger and the Layover Burger is a must try. And the cocktails are always great. It's a great atmosphere great food and great service. Highly recommend Airport Grille.
Last night my husband and I were told that there would be a 30-40 minute wait. And, so we waited. The hostess was a bit disorganized with her list of guests as other staff members were also adding names to the list causing confusion. The bar tender in a round about way hurried her guests to seat her two friends who had just arrived. Meanwhile we were there before them and still waiting. After waiting 40 minutes, the hostess could not determine whether we were next for our table or other guests. Other guests were then seated. Seats became available at the bar and we opted to have dinner there. Before even getting served, 2 couples who had arrived after us were getting their drinks served. Finally, we get served. Appetizer was delicious. The meal was cold and would have been better had we received silverware to eat with our meal. My husband began eating his meal with a steak knife due to no silverware. My husband and I observed a guest head over to the bar to order. Stated that the bar tender on the other side was awful and the wait time was awful. There was a party on the other side of the restaurant. Observed another guest get her card refunded as she was overcharged for food and beverages. It is apparent that they were understaffed or lacked training. I was going to purchase a gift certificate for 100.00 but after the experience opted to not.

Updated ... The Chicken Caprese is wonderful! Always love it here!! Only this time I tried the bourbon bacon steak... Ordered it medium, it was so thin and WELL overcooked...
Was less than impressed! Had the lay over burger and it was awful. The meat was extremely dark, the bacon was over cooked, the egg was the same. The bread appeared to be fresh. The fries were saturated with oil and over fried. Meal was over priced compared to more popular joints. Poor quality food and slow service made it for a not so good experience. Will not returning anytime soon!
This is my third time at this restaurant although I've heard many great things about this restaurant and I can not see why. Had the fish and chips worst I ever had. Not sure what happened to this restaurant. Long wait 25 minutes for fish and chips to arrive. Very very thin fillers of fish. Almost thought they were serving fresh water fish. No taste and no texture. Sorry for the bad review. It's my first but felt people should not be disappointed like this when your dinning out as one of life's good feeling luxury.
Tried the Airport Grill for the 1st time via takeout and the pictures don't them justice. The lobster Ravioli and Calamari was fantastic. The quality of the steak was good, but lacked a good garlic gravy sauce to give it the Portuguese flair. The Ravioli and Calamari alone are worth the drive. Looking forward to my next visit.
Not the best dinner date we had. 45 plus minute wait on food , and no it was not busy. And once we got our food it was for the most part sub par. Chowder was ok, Could have been hotter . Egg rolls were good, cranberry mayo sauce was the best . Portuguese steak was ordered medium…… there was one pink spot that’s it . It was dry and hard to cut. Not so great for 27$. As we waiting for our food we saw many people come and just stand at the host desk bc there wasn’t an employee there constantly to greet and help. When someone was there they were eating , on their phone or fooling around in the lobby …….Disappointing
