Dr. Alkead is the absolute best around. No better doctor in the tri-state area. Wonderful with the kids and always spot on with his diagnosis.
Dr. Alkaed is extremely knowledgeable and has a way with patients of all ages. My son will be 17 soon & he has been a patient of Dr. Alkaed going on 3 years. Throughout that time, Dr. Alkaed has patiently helped my son develop a lifestyle congruent to his chronic disease management. Without causing defensiveness or low self esteem, Dr. Alkaed helped my son understand the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle leading to improvements in my sons physical, emotional & mental health. My son has gained more confidence, can speak up for himself, his grades have improved, he takes control over his dietary choices, is active daily, has lost the recommended amount of weight for better management of his chronic illnesses & improved quality of life, got his drivers license, completed the summer youth work program through ODD & now has a part time job. I thank Dr. Alkaed & his staff for all their support & hard work they provide for The Ohio Valley. Those conversations with Andrew during appointments have helped make the world of difference, especially the improved relationship he has with his dad & I can’t thank you enough for everything
This is the best pediatrician! His staff are so professional and sweet. Everyone there goes above and beyond to make you feel like they care about your children. He is beyond thorough and takes his time to find out exactly what is going on with your child. Then called me after hours to go in depth about the antibiotic and the diagnosis again. If you’re looking for an old school pediatrician who generally cares about your children’s health and well being id switch to him! Best decision I ever made!! Beyond happy!!!

Went to a different doctor for my son who couldn’t even keep track of medication my son was on and didn’t even mark in his chart things that she claimed was wrong with him. Went to Dr Alkaed and immediately noticed a difference by walking in the door. His staff was so kind as was he. He made sure to let me know why he was doing everything he was doing and to even show me his chart and where he was on the chart and what I can do to keep him on track. He even called me at 3am when I was worried about my sons Cherry angioma. I 100% would recommend this pediatrician.
Always patient and kind to my kids, and more than happy to explain things to their mother and I. More than once he’s instructed us to call him on his personal phone with updates. Absolutely recommend to anyone.
