Al Madany Islamic Center of Norwalk is a congregation of approximately 100 Muslim families living in Norwalk since the early 1970s. We are non-denominational and welcome anyone who considers himself or herself Muslim to worship with us whether they are Sunni, Shia etc. Our congregation is multi-national and multi-racial with members from America, India, Pakistan, Egypt, Nigeria, Sudan, Europe, Lebanon and Bangladesh. We epitomize God’s declaration in the Quran that he made humans into nations and tribes that we may know one another (49:13).

During driving time people google search for nearest masajid. This masajid has a door code to open. If possible please disable the door code during prayer time. So people can get in quickly. I had two days this problem. Thank you.

As person who was traveling and not live around, pls leave the door open so we can come and pray anytime
A wonderful and beautiful place.. It is clear from the first glance and the appearance from the outside that it was a church before, so praise be to Allah for His grace, and may Allah reward those in charge and taking care of it with the best reward. I prayed in this mosque while I was passing through, and I had to wait a little while for someone to open the door for me because it was locked, even though it was the time for prayer and there was a presence inside the mosque. I totally understand the reasons. May Allah swt bless you All .

Super nice people, very welcoming. The recitation is also very pleasant to listen to.
Friday prayers 1st around 1:10pm and 2nd at 1:50pm which is very good Alhamdulillah very beautiful masjeed very close to 95
Beautiful and clean masjid, but locked when not in session. Visiting from out of town hoping to stop by and pray but doors were locked and no one on site to assist.
This is the second time that I have been in here and the doors were closed last week I wanted to pray ASR and this week between Maghreb and Isha I wanted to pray Maghreb. I don’t know what kind of mosques that closes between Maghreb and Isha
MashaAllah the Imam Shaykh Mohamed Almasri has great recitation and solid khutbahs relevant topics, incorporates the Quran and sunnah. Daily prayer times are posted on the digital sign in the masjid. Or, you can ask on the WhatsApp group. As of January 2022, jumuah starts at 1:05 PM. Sometimes after daily salah the Imam gives a short talk. MashaAllah it's a developing community with many families in the area. MashaAllah Shaykh Mohamed is very engaged with the community and its development. May Allah accept from him and his family! Not quite as developed as some of the masjids in NY e.g., Masjid ‘Eesa ibn Maryam, Islamic Center of Long Island or NJ ICPC, MCMC, NBIC, but getting there inshaAllah. Alhamdulillah, my favorite masjid in Western Connecticut. Enter "Union Park, Norwalk, CT" to get driving directions to the masjid parking lot. Entering Al Madany into Google Maps takes you to the back side of the parking lot, which is closed off to traffic. The front door is always locked. Until you get your personalized code, you have to wait for someone to let you in.
