My Mother wanted to add some detail to the headstone of one of her sisters. The staff treated her great, was respnsive to her needs and performed excellent work. Highly recommend!

My father recently passed away a disabled Korean war veteran , my 82 yr old mother and my sister went to albernez monuments. The women in the office were professional and knowledgeable. My sister had stated that my father was a war veteran and he would've wanted the stone mined in the U.S.A the women stated the stone would be mined in Vermont Fast forward 6 months or so and the stone was installed Upon initial inspection the stone seemed ok to the untrained eye. Upon further inspection the stone had a silver dollar sized blemish on the front of the stone. I contacted albernez monuments via phone and sent pictures of the defect. They acknowledged the defect and after about 2 weeks of waiting, I got no response from them. They never offered a resolution to my problem. I decided to drive to albernez monuments where the ladies were in the office. I introduced myself and they seemed confused about how to resolve the problem. I had asked for a Barre Guild certificate of authenticity, meaning the stone was mined in Vermont. The women COULD NOT produce one since it was mined in INDIA OR CHINA. Something my mother or sister had specifically requested that they did NOT want Upon hearing our conversation an older gentleman came from the backroom and aggressively approached me. I was honestly taken back by such unprofessionalism. He was upset that I had infringed on his CHINESE stone scam grossly misleading the origin of the stonehe was perpetuating I'm sure the profit margins from China are greater than stones mined in Vermont. Profits over people. He threatened to call the police if I didn't leave his office, which I didn't leave. He was very close to striking me with his finger ,which I warned him not to do. It was an all out shouting match. He was upset that I had uncovered his profits over people scam by MISLEADING people into the origin of the stone. I was finally given $300 off the price of the stone not without fighting for it and the older gentleman remained unprofessional during the whole incident. They mislead GRIEVING people about the origin of the stone. Profits over people. I cannot tell you another monument company to use, but I would stay away from albernez monuments. Misleading fraudsters. Profits over people Catchy phrase , too bad albernez monuments already has it copyrighted. Stay away!!!!!

Been there 2 times ,the women in the office were kind & knowledgeable ,not the best reason to be there, but they made it made it alittle better.
