Took the granddaughter to a Marvel Trivia night she had a wonderful time and wants to go to other things. The library has a lot of different events not just for small children. The staff was nice and helped me while I was waiting.
The staff is s friendly and helpful. I’m so proud to have such a well stocked library in our city. Really saves money on buying all the books I’d like to read.
Beautiful, old building... Love going here for books. I could get lost all day wandering the stacks. It's several floors. There's also a great children's library next door.
Arrived a bit before they were open and walked in. The librarians were very gracious and allowed me to come right in. They were very helpful in setting up the microfilm and giving me info that I needed. Wonderful experience!
This library is by far one of the greatest community services I've seen so far. The staff is very helpful and they're knowledgeable. This library has inviting energy and is modern and has something for everyone here! They have your standard sections of books in an interesting 3 floor section, they rent video games, dvd's, Cd's, audiobooks and more!! They offer classes on tech literacy, kids programs, reading activities, giveaways and more, all to help inspire reading and learning to everyone regardless of age. I'm so excited to go back and spend more time here. A Library is a key community resource and Albright Memorial does it right.
Very nice place. Very historic. Very clean and kept up with. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I could spend days there. And it's so peaceful to just longe back and read a book.
Great libraryl always has been since l was a kid in the Seventies!
There is a book on non-linear dynamics here that is incredible. The book selection is of an extremely high quality, particularly a few of the titles on mathematics and probability. The stained glass is extremely beautiful. I love the building, courtyard, and area. i havent been here in probably like 5 years, so a lot may have changed... but i had a particularly uplifting experience overall and felt it necessary to leave this review.
Really incredible picturesque library that will impress any patron with it's impeccable attention to detail! The art deco on the exterior even features owls a well known symbol of knowledge which just makes sense. On the interior you will find a courteous and professional staff, a well thought out multitude of engaging activities, reference computers, and a few specially placed exhibits to attract attention and enrich one's state-of-being! In my own perspective, I was really in shock of the profound craftsmanship of the library and the generosity of John J. Albright himself. It's really a remarkable building and dates back to 1891 the start of construction realistically making this particular library 130 years old this year.
The director refuses to submit required tax information in accordance with federal law. He also thinks that library policies regarding the public are his own private information.
