Nothing but great things to say about the office. Always has same days when you call first thing at 8am. Staff are great and explain everything to suit your needs. Physicians are great couldn't ask for a better Doc. or NP. All around the office is nice and tidy and a great place to bring your family for all their medical needs.
The staff here just don't have it together. Making appointments, getting prescriptions, general communication--all of this is the biggest headache. Dr. VanDeHey seems like a good doctor, but the other staff we have interacted with have made going here a horrible experience. Their fax machine must not work most of the time because they don't get faxes sent to them and faxes they send out don't make it to the sources either. When I have asked about emailing instead of faxing they have said they "don't know how to do that." If you need something done that is time-sensitive, forget about it. Calls are almost never returned after leaving messages. And the biggest problem with all of this? I am the one making the phone calls back and forth trying to resolve issues--everyone else just passes the buck. THE PATIENT SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT COORDINATING THEIR CARE. It is extremely stressful and I am left wondering why I am paying "professionals" for me to do their job...
receptionists/front desk workers are insanely rude. my mother was calling for an appointment and i could hear her yelling back at my mother due to the fact it takes 2 days to even get ahold of them. Colleen HUNG UP on my mother when she’s trying to get a very important perscription. absolutely disgusting behavior and you may lose a patient after this, as if you haven’t been losing a bunch due to no professionalism anymore.
Im having to take the day off of work in pain now. All because i was 9 mins late for my appointment and they wouldn't see me this morning. Thanks to a train. Also was told i could Reschedule For over a week out! Just turned their back on their patient smh
Do you even see patients? My husband has been feeling sick for weeks A script was called in for diarrhea but since he has lost over 20lbs and still isn't feeling good! T he office will only talk to him on the phone. If you are not going to see patients that need to be seen then tell them to find a new doctor!!! We found a doctor that will see him
APFP are the best around!!! Between the staff, the woman who works in the blood lab and Teresa, I couldnt be happier with my switch to the office. Prompt, welcoming and very professional.
Can't say enough good things. I drive an hour to see Dr. Vandehey. I won't ever go anywhere else.
I absolutely love my doctor, dr. Adams, but the staff there behind the desk are so rude every time I call!! They told me no doctor is there after 430 to which I replied but you're open until 530? She then got an attitude and told me no one is available to help me. Hate this place! The staff acts like this often! Wish my doctor would move somewhere the staff was more pleasant and actually cared!
Theresa Compton is such a great nurse! She listens and she’s understanding and also companionate and curious. She makes going to see the doctor NOT suck
I love this place. I have been going to Dr. Vandehey since 2003 and he is wonderful. The new practice is outstanding and the staff and nurses are incredible. Dr. Vandehey cares so much for his patiences and it shows.
