Awesome little airport. Feels like you're hanging out with your family rather than trying to navigate an airport. TSA is incredibly easy usually only 5-8 people at a time need it and they actually honor PreCheck also. Very efficient and friendly. Not to mention the last Metroliner service in the US! The town has great bar/restaurant and friendly people too.
Wonderful, friendly airport personnel!! The pilots flying the propeller Denver Air plane were concerned for our comfort. The seats was comfortable with so much leg room. I would definitely fly from Alliance Municipal Airport again.
I had the world best pilot. I pulled out my phone to show my family the plane and he posed for the photo as fast as the flash, super kind and would love to see him as my pilot again.
Very friendly staff. Security was breeze! Worth the money to save on travel time.
Great resource to have here in Alliance! There's air service twice a day each way every day between here and Denver. Only takes an hour to fly to DIA from here, that quickly... -or- do you *really* want to drive over 4 hours each way, spending more to park there as well? Cool events here now and then too, such as the "Alliance Nebraska Fly In" back in 2013. This airport was first completed in '42 during WW II. About 2 years later the 2nd Air Force were training B-29 Superfortress crews here. Personally, I've been using a virtual Flight Simulator version of this airport and area to regularly "fly" in and out of KAIA - Alliance, Nebraska. Attached is my coming in to land an A-26 slurry bomber onto Runway 12 in a mild crosswind under a fine sky, then a C-47 cruising the summer panhandle between Scottsbluff & Alliance. Finally, a cropped screen capture from Google Maps showing the northwestern quadrant of the Nebraska panhandle thank you once again Google. When my health allows me to there'll be real world photos captured here then posted. Great little airport!
Super friendly airline staff and TSA agents. More than I expected, but it is what it is too: a small town airport in Nebraska. There was a wasp in the securit room, how quaint.
Simple easy airport but screening room is very small. Boarding was easy
All staff were friendly and helpful, great way to start a travel. They didn't give me issue with my Medical Water.
If I could give this airport zero stars I would. Every time I try to fly in or out of here it’s a disaster. I guess that’s what happens when the people who work there too lazy to actually do their job. I would highly suggest you fly out of literally any other airport then alliance.
Small, but functional. The least busy airport in the lower 48 states. Roughly 8 people a day fly through here on average.
