We came in for dessert. We didn’t have a reservation, but they were able to seat us promptly on a very busy Friday night. They were understaffed, as are many eating establishments these days. We had the salted caramel cheesecake off menu special which was absolutely delicious. We’ll be back to try the rest of the menu soon!
Overpriced. I paid almost $70 for what turned out to be a patty and some lettuce, a pile of way-too-rich spaghetti, 2 boxes of decent freezer shoe string fries, and a peach cut up with exactly 3 small pieces of pork belly. Maybe I just picked the wrong things, but all that combined with their website menu being completely out of date left me with a bad experience. The employees were nice though. Probably won't be back.
Amazing food, as a long time chef, it's hard for me to go into a restaurant and find dishes I'm excited about. Not the case here. I literally couldn't even pick. I wanted to try so many of the entrees and appetizers. Luckly I had my wife with me so I could try two dishes. I had the gnocchi she had the risotto, we were carb craving. First word that comes to mind on both dishes was" balanced" not one flavor overpowered and it allowed all the flavors to shine coming together to make amazing dishes. The risotto was so perfectly cooked creamy but still firm enough with every grain. Portion sizes are what you would expect from the quality but are fair. Happy hour looks amazing and so reasonably priced . Groupon got us here we will be back.went pack got the pallea it was amazing
Celebrating a promotion with a lovely alfresco dinner. He had French Onion Soup and foraged mushrooms. I had their paella. Shared the pear bread pudding, along with an amaretto for dessert. Really solid flavors, beautiful presentation and excellent service. This place is always great.
My expectations might have been too high. I'd never been to Allium before, but had heard so many people rave about it, plus I had read a lot of online reviews. I knew there were dishes that others had found disappointing, so I avoided those. Had the duck fat and rosemary fries, which others had liked, and they were fine. Then, followed up with the beef stew. The meat was tender, but there weren't any potatoes or onion in it. The polenta it was served over was fine. The problem was I only ate half of it and when I went to eat my leftovers two days later it was only okay. Finished off with the sugared donuts, which were heavy on the cinnamon and also a disappointment when I heated them up later. I would go back and try something different, but not for a good long time.
Perfect date night! Our waitress was amazing and second to her was the culinary experience.
Great food and staff! Best burgers around and overall a great menu. The food and friendly staff keep me coming back!
Some of the best locally sourced food perfectly prepared and served in lovely surroundings at the top level hospitality, created by one of the best chefs in this part of the country.
The food was fantastic and the their wine and spirits were also top of the line. If you are ever in the downtown West Linn area go to this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.
Loved the food and the waitstaff. 4 stars for not enforcing mask mandates; a man walked around the restaurant without a mask whom was seated with his companion for dinner. Otherwise, fantastic place and reasonable prices
