A very nice and mellow place for Mexican food. Only two complaints I had was that my 2nd taco was soggy and basically fell apart on my plate and instead of ordering a kids lemonade, just order water with a lemon, because that's what it tasted like anyways. I appreciate the lack of sugar in their version of lemonade, but you don't have to pay for lemon water if you don't order lemonade. On a positive note, the service was super friendly and everyone else's dishes were great. IMO, still the best local Mexican food restaurant. ***Update***, my 2nd visit, the tacos we're perfect and "holding up" just fine. I highly recommend a visit if your craving some good Mexican food. ***Update***, food is still very delicious, but the service was horrible today. Probably the worst I've been given in a long time when dining out. Edited to 2-stars, and I won't ever return.
Consistently not great . I don't enter reviews until I've eaten somewhere 3 times, in case they were having an off day. .. Nope. Cheap food comes at a price. The burrito has no veggies, chimichanga was small and greasy, and the enchiladas taste like someone poured a can of sauce on them and nuked it. Service is inconsistent and they appear to be inconvenienced by customers.
Best Mexican restaurant on the west side. Extremely friend family run place. Fast service and perfect place for a table of two or a large party of 12. They are very accomedating to families with young children. They have a special menu with non traditional Mexican fare for the kids and are patient taking their drink orders which if you have been through the experience of eight little kids trying to out do each other and one vegan parent you understand. I left the food for last but not for negative reasons. If you've been to a Mexican family restaurant before then you should have a good expectation of what to expect. Only the quality of food and service is better then the competitors. Right off the 10th street exit and they also offer take out so you can call ahead drive down and pick up.
Food is good. Almost always end up waiting double the time on pick up orders around lunch time, when the restaurant is otherwise dead. I don't think they check online/third party app orders very frequently. I've stood in the lobby for 15-20 minutes beyond the given pick up time waiting for a single burrito. Also, requesting burritos with no enchilada sauce does not seem to be possible or at least when I've requested it, it is not heeded. So note that their "burritos" are really enchiladas. But, like I said, the food is still good.
Delicious and delightful! My family goes here as much as we can because the food is always good and the staff friendly and helpful. My husband and I especially enjoy the seafood plates - full of flavor and so much food. Tonight we ate outside and enjoyed out food and drinks and the ability to dine in again, all while being safe. Will return again and again!
Unbelievable food i ordered through grubhub there enchiladas are just delicious and flavorful there mole sauce was the best I've had in a long time. The rice was cooked to perfection not to spicy the favor was outstanding . The presentation was perfect nothing was smashed or broken extra sala and chips came with the order with no extra cost. It was such a perfect dinner best Mexican restaurant by far.
Ordered a seafood burrito, this thing came with a blob of cheap molten cheese on top, a smudge of beans and rice and enough lettuce to go, with another blob of sour cream, if you are a seafood eater, please know that that seafood smell that you love will be completely absent from this burrito, in exchange you’ll be eating something you won’t be able to guess what is it, I could not see a piece of shrimp, a piece of fish NOTHING! Not even a little cut that would hint me this was seafood! At a $16 plate this has been one of my worst eating experiences in a restaurant, Mexican or otherwise, what a waste and what a shame to call themselves a Mexican restauran!
We went the first time a few weeks ago and it was ok. On a hot day my family and I decided to try it again. We were greeted by a man who clearly hates his job. He mumbled to us, sat us down and grunted. When my son asked for mild salsa, he grunted and walked away and never returned. The plates were so hot I literally burned myself on it. Literally, 3 times! The food is clearly not fresh. Not only that my husband found a fly in his horchata, my son found a fly in his water and the staff didn't seem to care. They took the drink off our tab, but they didn't apologize, acknowledge or anything further than a grunt. Ugh - the food is ok - but not fresh - the service sucks - and you may have bugs in your food. We had such high hopes.
A super tasty Mexican food restaraunt. Just next to Main Street, so it is super convinient. There are never big crowds, so great service. Only time I ever saw this place fill up was on cinco de mayo. Salsa tastes great, and there is a bar, restaraunt part, and even an outdoor area for eating. My only complaints are there is no wifi, and there is a lack of TV's. The only TV is in the bar, and it has quite bad quality. Guessing 480 p
Delicious food and lots of it! We went right when they opened on a Saturday, and had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Naturally, the service was great. We'll be back.
