I had vivid put in my hair and a hair cut by Galaxy. She did phenomenal! I'm in love with my hair and she's super nice. The facility is also very nice. Its actually an old house they turned into the salon and I love the vibe that gives off. Plus they do events here and try to really connect with the community. I am always pleased when Faith works her magic on my hair! She listens and is extremely knowledgeable. I told her my worries about having a possible bald spot starting and she reassured me that I just have a new cowlick!

I had the worst experience of my life here with Galaxy as my stylist. I came in for an blonde ombre look and left with an orangey brassy mess. Galaxy spent less than 2 minutes consulting with me about what I wanted.  Later, in attempts to explain what she had done she said she misunderstood my goal- not surprising since there was barely a consultation. She had to bleach my hair TWICE which she did not hesitate to do because she didn't get it right the first time. Needless to say, it wasnt achieved the second time either. She also "trimmed" my hair. She cut it so uneven and didnt even seem to section my hair during the trim. I asked for no length to be taken off, but she left me with a 2 inch chunk gone on only one side of my hair. When I pulled my hair to the front, there were little rat tails and weird length chunks of hair, it was so bad. I asked for a refund of just half my money and she declined, but later gave in to giving me $20 for the cut way less than half. I had to go to a different salon to get it fixed and had to pay even more money. The stylist was appalled by Glaxays work just as I was and kept apologizing to me because she felt so bad for me. My hair is so dried and damaged now because of how many times it's been bleached and I cant do anything with it for a long time. It's been weeks since I got it done and I'm still so upset about it because my hair is ruined. Im writing this because I wish I had seen a review like this before coming to Galaxy. I regret it so much.

Everyone here is very welcoming, accepting, and affirming. Galaxy is great with hair, and Casey is an amazing tattoo artist! Highly recommend.

Got a cut a few Tuesdays go but been meankng to review. Awesome vibe and atmosphere. Everybody has a sense of humor and is friendly. Galaxy is the one to go to for alternative stylings and she did an awesome job. Best cut I've had in years. Will definitely be a regular. Feel like a movie star with this cut not gonna lie.

Almost Heaven has a wonderful staff and atmosphere, they're kid and neurodivergent friendly, and they have excellent prices and quality. I absolutely LOVE this place. Galaxy gave me the best haircuts I've ever received, and they offer a wide array of high quality services. I recommend Almost Heaven to everyone I know.

This place has such a cool atmosphere and I really like how it has many different aspects all in one building. You could get your hair done, get a piercing or tattoo, etc. I would highly recommend Alexis for your hair needs. She's very educated and skilled in pretty much any hair needs. She's given me a cute angled cut and also helped me create custom extensions to blend seamlessly into my hair. Plus She's just a cool person to chat with!

Galaxy is the best!  I get tons of compliments on my hair all the time.

I live in Charlotte and have had terrible experiences with hair stylist. A friend referred me to Alexis and man I was not disappointed.  The short drive to Shelby, NC was very relaxing!  I told Alexis what I wanted and she made suggestions and then the magic happen. My hair went from dry and blah to soft and fabulous! Pictures speak volumes. Growing my hair long and letting the gray shine.  Thank you Alexis you are a miracle worker for my textured curly hair
