Alpena Gymnastics, Inc. has been a non-profit organization since 2007. We offer gymnastics instruction for Northern Michigan youth ages 18 months to 18 years. Plus a new adult class!
The Wildkitten Tumbling program started in 1997 as an introductory tumbling program/ cheerleading. We started classes with a couple of mats that were donated to us from the University of Michigan. Over the years, the U of M gymnastics coach, Kurt Golder, continued to donate eguipment to our program. Money for new eguipment also came from our local community clubs and foundations. In 2006, Wildkitten Tumbling, with the help from our advanced coach, Leah Stafford, developed into a complete gymnastics program. Wildkitten Tumbling, Inc. is a nonprofit program that owes its success to the help and support of our community, and involved parents and teens.
