My two boys 12 and 9 have been attending AMAA for just over a year. After trying-out at multiple martial arts facilities in both Howard and Anne Arundel country, and none have compared to this one. Unlike other schools that focus solely on one aspect of martial arts, AMAA primarily focuses on the basic fundamentals of Taekwondo and specializes in olympic style sparring. In the past year, my boys have participated in numerous activities not limited to; camping, sking, local and out of state competitions, leadership seminars, field trips and soon nationals in Florida. This school thinks outside of the box when it comes to selecting activities for pre-K to college students can enjoy together. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff to include all of the instructors I believe there are seven are friendly and professional. I drop my boys off then later return to pick them up only to find them not wanting to go home. I personally drive over 40 minutes each way, four times a week. If I did not feel this school was worth it then I would find another school closer to home. I trust AMAA, my children are growing and learning with their peers and I cannot recommend a better place than Alpha Martial Arts Academy!!!
Alpha Martial Arts Academy helps anyone in becoming the best that they can be. Preparing young kids and adults for higher levels of education by providing the highest levels of martial arts, discipline, and mentorship. Must see and be a part of to understand and appreciate.
My son has been going here for about a year now and he loves it! The Masters are so good with the kids, just the right amount of discipline. There's a lot of kids but they somehow always know every kid by name, very personal. I highly recommend!
My kids love to go to Alpha Martial Arts Academy. They not just teaching Tae Kwon Do. They want to teach releationship between people and how they can manage their time and life. I definatly trust master Kwon and master Lee.
After visiting the academy we were very impressed how the staff approached the kids with discipline and care, will be enlisting both our boys, also have to mention Lee, couldn’t be a nicer, more professional teacher.
Best instructors and Master I have been known master Oh over 20 yrs as a friend as a human being master Oh is absolute Best Master. I would strongly recommend this school for your future training center
