You need a reservation for a boot fitting. They were booked 10 days out. Still they accommodate use for boots less the fitting. They were for my son whose feet grow by the minute. But note that’s not the usual and we were lucky. Super friendly and nice staff. Luke was super awesome and very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend
This is a really great ski shop, I almost missed the turn the first time I came so watch out for that. If you're getting boots fitted they have some great technology here that scans the shape of your foot, creates a 3D image of your foot, lots of measurements and a knowledgeable staff. Definitely on the more expensive side, not that it's particularly expensive here considering everything is new and good, but you're definitely not getting a deal either and if you're looking for more affordable there may be other places to go where you can get good stuff for cheaper. Overall though this a great place and I'd recommend it
I had a custom boot fitting with Topher and he was excellent! He really took the time to find a boot that would fit me well. He also answered all of my questions about boots and skis. I am really impressed at the time and care he put into the fitting. I would highly recommend getting a boot fitting from him. I can’t speak for the the other boot fitters but they also seemed very attentive and knowledgeable when helping out other customers while I was there.
Was recommended here by a friend, and glad we listened. Truly an outstanding experience during the boot fitting. My fiancé went in, as she’s stopped skiing because of the chronic pain it caused her feet. Gave up on the sport because everyone kept saying “they’re ski boots, they’re not supposed to be comfortable!” Glad we listened to our gut, because their boot fitter, Tyler, was able to get her in a perfect pair of boots and back on the mountain. In fact, I’m jealous of her boots now and itching to get in and purchase a pair there myself. Why 4 stars then? After spending $600 on a pair of boots, the shop puts probably the cheapest sticker in the existence of mankind on the side of the boot, and it is near impossible to get off. After purchasing goo-gone, there is still a haze after our efforts. I get it… they’re boots and they’ll get banged up, but you wouldn’t want stuff on new shoes. You wouldn’t want scuffs on a new iPhone. If this is a result of our negligence trying to get it off, it begs the question why we were put in this situation in the first place. Seems like a Karen thing to complain about, but really took away from the joy and “unboxing” experience of a new boot having to fight off any ugly sticker, and ultimately damaging the boot in the process. This was not placed on the boot by the manufacturer, so my advice to the team here is invest in better stickers or please stop slapping them on the boot in the first place.
My ski boots were super tight on my toes, and I had the best experience getting custom fitted for new insoles and adding room for my toes. Skiing has never been better, and I haven't had any issues since. Staff is friendly and professional. Reasonable prices for custom fitting. Highly recommend!
This ski shop is awesome. The staff have been attentive every time I've gone in and the management are super passionate about being on the mountain in the right gear. Definitely loved my ski coat and ski pants combo and will be purchasing my next pair of boots and skis from these guys next year!
Great local ski shop that has almost everything you need for downhill skiing. I've used them for tuning and in-season purchases and everything has gone great. It's good to have a shop like this in the Ogden area
Almost pulled the trigger on new skis and bindings for my wife from a discount place out of Colorado online. I called Alpine to see if they offered the skis we wanted and was informed they had them in stock and at a better price. Purchased skis and bindings only to find out her boots needed some extra work. Now under the gun for time we came back later that night to look at boots with out an appointment for a fitting and was informed of their fitting procedures. We explained we knew the size and style we wanted and were allowed to try on what we wanted with the help of a knowledgeable boot fitter and were checked for a perfect fit. We bought the boots and they will have everything put together overnight for us. I know they want to customize the fit to your foot which is always a good thing and something I recommend but they went out of their way to accommodate us and make sure we left happy, even when it ment staying a little past the end of his shift. These guys are great and very professional, don’t hesitate to do business with the best Ogden has to offer.
The staff their is awesome. They know what to look for and help you find whatever you need. My wife and I bought our ski boots there and will be back to get our new skis soon; all because of the help that we received from Topher that helped fit us to our boots.
I highly recommend this place for ski boot fitting. I’d like to call out Travis individually. He was fantastic. He is VERY knowledgeable and listened to my concerns and questions with open ears. At the end of the session he steered me in the right direction and after skiing the boots today I could not be happier.
