Alta Strada Mosaic

My wife and I wanted to celebrate our 26th Wedding Anniversary at an Italian Restaurant. I made a reservation using OpenTable with Alta Strada. We found parking easy enough and walked in to the restaurant to be greeted by a friendly gentleman who seated us immediately. Our server Karis, like Paris with a K that's what she told us, provided us amazing, prompt, and friendly service. She attended to our dietary preferences, to include pointing out what to avoid, but also offering flexible alternatives. Management gifted us with cannollis see the photo to wrap up our meal. From our beverages, appetizers, entrées, to dessert, every morsel was delicious, fresh, and a delight to our pallates. The food sat well afterwards. The manager checked in with us to see how everything was. We had a great conversation with her and left with an overall good opinion of the restaurant. We learned that the menu is changed often, the ingredients our sourced as locally as possible, and the chefs go through great lengths to be accommodating of all the diverse dietary preferences in the area. Highly recommend if you want a delicious meal that fits your delectable desires.

Food and service was AMAZING!! Had the bruschetta as an appetizer and shrimp entre. Delicious!! We had Lucy as our server and she helped us so much, gave the best recommendations, and was super accommodating. Will definitely be coming back thanks to her<3Food: 5/5

Had a wonderful experience at Alta Strada today, we went for an early dinner and the atmosphere was great, not too busy. We sat outside and enjoyed our meal, we got the mushroom pasta, shrimp, and the octopus!! Our server Lucy was so sweet and very attentive, she was very knowledgeable about all the dishes and helped us make our choices!! Thank you Lucy! The food was great and perfect portion sizes, I’ll be back soon.

I chose Alta Strada to celebrate my 21st bday yesterday. Never dined there before and left thinking how can I possibly dine anywhere else now?? Food was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel like the most celebrated person ever. As someone who works in a restaurant, I felt inspired to do better at my own job in hospitality. I highly recommend the espresso martini and I want to thank all the wonderful staff again for hosting my family and I. I definitely will be coming back.

I was in town on business and we stopped in for dinner with a group of 11 people. The hostesses made every effort to accommodate our group and arranged seating much faster than expected. The bartender made a fabulous old fashioned while we waited for our table. Once seated, we ordered the calamari and garlic bread appetizers. The calamari was, hands down, the best I've had. The wait staff were friendly and fabulous and the food was to die for. From 4 trips to the DC area, this was by far my best dining experience. This will definitely be a regular stop when I. Had the pleasure of dining at Altra Strada and I can confidently say that it was a great experience!! The food was super yummy and Lucy our server was exceptional! She was very attentive and super sweet answering all of our questions! It was overall a great dinning experience and I will definitely be back soon!Food: 4/5

Had an amazing time here, the food and service are both top notch! Our server, James, familiarized us with the menu since it was our first time dining here, and he was super attentive and helpful the entire time. We got the crispy calimari for the appetizer and it was to die for! We then got the truffle Alfredo with chicken and it was extremely flavorful and filling. Great portions as well. Definitely will be coming back to try other items on the menu!

I’m a fan!!! The chicken parm was SO YUMMY… it surprisingly doesn’t come with the spaghetti but you can add it on as a side… haha, I wasn’t prepared for how GINORMOUS it was, but SO delicious and I had leftovers, so that was awesome! The limoncello cocktail is SO TASTY. Our server told us they use their own house made thyme simple syrup…yummm! It’s also in such a cool spot that’s super family friendly and there’s free parking close.

Came to visit relatives who live in the neighborhood & they recommended this restaurant which didn’t meet the rave reviews.We ordered mushroom tagliatelle which was bland, and pasta was not cooked al dente calamari that’s chewy& greasy, salty rigatoni bolognese, mixed green salad that was super sour. The bill came up to $267 with auto gratuity of 20% and at the bottom of the receipt there is additional tip for subpar food? I could have just dine at Carmines for better tasting food with bigger portion but I listened to my cousin’s suggestion instead and end up very disappointed and I felt ripped off.
