Dr Bechtel has been amazing with my daughter. He is so knowledgeable and is always very caring. I highly recommend him for pediatric ophthalmology!
Dr. Robert Bechtel and his team are just incredible. I cannot say enough about them. Since I was a young kid, I dealt with a wandering eye. As I got older, I dealt with double vision 100% of the time. It never dissipated. After seeing a couple eye doctors, I was told that my eye was unable to be fixed and refocused. After many years of dealing with it, I was referred to Dr. Bechtel and after two surgeries, I am so grateful and excited for the results. I haven't had double vision since surgery and no longer deal with a wandering eye. His work was incredible and he and his team were so kind throughout the whole process. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!
I can’t understand where these bad reviews stem from- I have been to this office and called the office for several things and I have had the most amazing experiences with everyone except the woman at the eyeglass side of the office. The doctor is so experienced with children and has been the MOST amazing medical professional that my son has been to. I am so happy with this office and how they helped my son.
To be fair if this was solely based on the doctor it would be 5 stars. I have been taking my daughter here since she was 2. My other daughter since she was 3 also goes there. The doctor we see there is amazing with kids and has dramatically improved my oldest child's quality of life by getting her a good diagnosis and proper prescription. Wouldn't trust anyone else with their exams. However, this is one of the few doctors offices that claims my insurance will not pay for the frames they like. That's fine I was willing to pay the upgrade charge from what ours would cover. They would not let me pay the difference. I have never heard such a thing. The frames we got the whole selection of 8 they had that my insurance supposedly covered we cheap and ugly and constantly broke! I had to get their prescription filled else where and there was no problem with me paying the difference for frames that were more durable and nicer looking. I highly recommend them for pediatric eye care but highly encourage you to go elsewhere for frame purchases.
I have never worn glasses so when my children failed their vision screens and needed glasses, this was all new to me. The staff and experience was unbelievable. My children adored Dr. Bechtel and Dr. Roscia. As a parent I was very impressed with the pediatric approached and really appreciated the way my older son was spoken to. They made us very comfortable and took the time to explain things to me since this was unknown territory. Ron took as much time needed to make sure my son was comfortable and confident in the glasses that he chose. I would say my children even ENJOYED their time in the office. Ever staff member was kind and funny. Dr. Bechtel and his staff are incredible with children and my son loved Dr. Roscia and thought he was so "cool." I am very pleased with the entire experience. THANK YOU!
Dr. Bechtel is amazing! My son had to have his tear ducts opened, and he was very thorough with treatment! Also, my sons father has a condition with his eyes that can be passed down and he's be amazing with checking to make sure things look healthy! Highly recommend!!
When calling for an appointment, Shelby in the office was extremely rude! She told me that the doctors in this office don't accept patients that have had surgery elsewhere and I would have to drive over 150 miles round trip to my previous doctor for follow-up. I explained that my cataract extraction was in 2016 and I no longer lived in the other county. Having worked in healthcare over 43 years, I know how to speak to the community and feel Shelby could benefit from customer service classes!
I was very impressed with our experience at this practice. The office is very kid friendly. The staff was kind and professional. Dr. Bechtel was amazing with my daughter. Very gentle and thorough. Would highly recommend him.
I surely hope the Dr is worth it. His front desk staff is very rude. I had to call to reschedule my son's appointment well in advance and the woman who answered the phone was awful. She practically screamed hello, what can I do for you in the phone. I explain we needed to reschedule and she seemed annoyed. She then proceeded to put me on hold for 5 minutes and then came back and had an attitude telling me it'll be another month until he can get in. Well I'm sorry I ruined your day by making you do your job!! This momma works a job most people wouldn't want and I deal with people daily. You're going to lose patients if someone doesn't lose her attitude
There are many kinds of doctor's in here. There is lots of parking.
