Gerry at Altour is so helpful, courteous, and professional in helping to book travel. We have booked a very large honeymoon with him to Hawaii and Bora Bora and he helped coordinate everything so smoothly our trip was seamless and really amazing ! We even had an issues with our flight home being cancelled and we reached out to him late at night and he got back to us asap and was so helpful. He recently booked a great trip for us to Aruba and gave us such great hotel recommendations and tips. Once again the trip was seamless and well planned. We look forward to booking again with Altour and Gerry soon !
Had a great experience here! Originally went to exchange money at TD bank. They needed 3 days to order the money, it wasn’t a great exchange rate and they wanted $25 fee! Thats insane! Started researching some other places and had a really nice woman help me. I called on the phone first and when i went in she remembered my voice. I got mexican pesos right then and there and it was only $6 to exchange with a good exchange rate. I got about 18 pesos per dollar so def not bad! Would return for my next trips.

My wife and I knew we wanted to travel to Hawaii for our honeymoon but were so busy in the months leading up to our wedding that we didn't have much time to plan the trip. About six months before, we visited Altour in Garden City and booked our honeymoon with Gloria Hewitt right then and there. She's a very savvy and well-informed travel agent and did all the work to get us the best deal and most ready-made vacation possible. We visited Oahu for three nights and Maui for seven nights and it was the vacation of a lifetime! She hooked us up with non-stop, round-trip flights from New York - JFK to Honolulu, a rental car in Maui, airport-to-hotel transportation to our Waikiki Beach hotel and beautiful hotels with ocean-front views. She also set us up with free breakfasts at each hotel, a Luau at our hotel in Maui and a dinner cruise right in the area. We planned most of our activities zip lining, helicopter tour, snorkeling, etc. locally using the helpful concierge desks at our hotels, but it was great to have a few planned events to build our vacation around. This was as seamless of a travel process that you could ever ask for, and we have Gloria to thank for setting up our beautiful trip during a time where we were too busy to worry about it. We got married on a Saturday, flew to Hawaii on the following Monday and had the time of our lives!
Went to exchange foreign currency to USD, staff was very friendly and informative.
Great place to get currency for different countries! Very convenient. I would call ahead to make sure they have the currency you need.
They are incompetent fools that refuse to do their job even after being corrected by American Express. If you are in need of travel services done correctly do not go here.
