Very knowledgeable and friendly practitioners and staff. Well worth the drive from South Bay for the quality of care. I was given time to have questions addressed and was provided with easy to understand instructions for post care. I appreciate their services.

Thank you to doctors and staff who quickly assessed and treated our GSD when she got bit on the tongue by a bee. We were visiting from out of state, and her tongue had swelled terribly. 30 min later, thanks to your care, she started acting and feeling better.

Both of my Staffies go here. The youngest, Tugg, cries like a whipped husky. The oldest, Tally, wants to kill everyone there and needs a muzzle. This is because neither likes the Vet but Alvarado still calms and soothes them, still treats them, and loves them even though one dog is a loud obnoxious baby and the other has fear aggression. Other Vets have just refused but Alvarado loves my dogs and always finds time to fit them in when one of them needs help. Can't imagine going anywhere else.

The staff at Alvarado has always taken great care of BaileyJane. They are true animal lovers! Dr. Jones in particular took one look at my dog and figured out right away she had colitis in about 10 seconds. They’re typically super busy so it’s always best to have an appointment if possible.

After years of only finding bad vets I finally found Alvarado veterinary . Everyone is friendly, professional, and there to treat my pup the best and at a fair price. I never feel like I am lodged between taking care of my dog and whether I need to get a 2nd mortgage.

Saw Dr. Jones 20 years ago with my Terrier and he did a great job on that dog's orthopedic surgery. I recently moved into the area and today, my Pittie needed a follow up after having an emergency surgery on ChristmasEve. It is great to see Dr. Jones again. He is professional with experience and knowledge, the staff is supportive, and there's something about that small practice charm that'll keep me coming back with our fur babies for hopefully another 20 years.
