If I could leave a review with 0 stars I would. This place has been one of the most disturbing, unethical, fraud, uncaring bad experiences in my life. I never cried as much as I did there. I'm well aware of good nursing care. But honestly not a good place. They leave you rarely check on you & never give meds. They refuse to give my hospital DC documents, saying it's their property. Definitely not patient oriented. They have no intentions of getting patient better when they're only in to see patient once a day if that instead they choose & plan on you staying longer. Probably the whole better kickbacks thing. Just very sad what I saw, heard, witnessed, lived. This place reminds me of the movie "Misery"
Family member was there for rehab & thankfully only for a short time. I thank the physical therapist & her assistants for assisting our family member in her therapy, they cared & it showed along with the “few” caregivers & nurses. Can’t say much for the rest of the staff. I’m still waiting for the facility to find family members clothing. Made a list of their clothing I took and at time of discharged only 3 pieces of clothing were giving back! They called & said they found most of her clothes but not her 2 jackets , in lieu of her jackets they dressed her in an old worn out sweater with broken buttons belonging to someone else at time of discharged. One thing that really bothers me is why would they strip some residents down to their underwear at bedtime..
Do not put your family members in this place. They neglected my father by waiting a day and a half after my father had a heart attack to take him to the hospital. Dr. said he had an infection and should have been seen much sooner. While there my father had two cell phones stolen, along with other personal belongings. When I asked about this no one could tell me anything. My father a man I have never seen cry called me begging me to get him out of there. He said it was hell and that he was treated very poorly. I was coming for him. He was moving here with me in six days. He passed away due to their neglect according to the hospital Dr.
Well, the Dr. seems attentative and does not sneek by like other Dr’s in other facilities. He has been the first to seek us out while we hang out with our family member. OT and PT Therapies are there which was good. Now for the bad. Our family members got diaper rash after two days there. They did not follow percautions to prevent injury to our family member. We let nurse know that paitient had sternum precautions and could they post a sign so that they can prevent injury to the paitient who just had open heart surgery. They said no it needs to be done by the PT who was gone for the day. We had been asking them all day about this. We put the sign that was from the cardiac dr. I observed an employee who changed a paitients diaper proceeded to touch a door knob across the hall looking for wipes and touch the food cart while wearing same gloves. Not very sanitary. The rooms are very small. They have 4 paitients to a bathroom. There are no chairs for the patient to use. Wheel chairs are scarce. Our family member needed to go to chair to eat per cardiac dr orders. The wheel chair was not always available. We requested he have a pad to prevent bed soars and nope not done. We were glad that this facility was better than other facilities in hemet however it was disapointing that the staff seemed to do the minimum.
My mother received exceptional care from many throughout her 90+ day stay. The only negative pertaining to this facility would be the night staff. One excessively large bahama mama is particularly nasty and is to be avoided if at all possible. I would recommend this facility for cognitive patients only and would highly advise nanny cams due to this unfortunate fact.
Well I will not recommend this facility to anyone, I would warn against this facility. Due to their neglagence, my mom has a broken hip. The xrays took almost 24 hrs to get done, now she is in pain that she would not have if the staff was properly trained.
This place is dirty. They have 1 tv in each room, so both patients have to share. Their visiting room is 4 folding chairs in a janitor like closet.
Been here two days. Staff professional ,caring and good. Very happy with this facility and friendly, competent staff.
Needs lots of help---NOT where you want your loved one--EVER!
Don't put your loved ones here
