This isn't a movie theater you go to if you want the best possible experience but one you go to when you don't like packed theaters The theaters are rarely full so you usually end up with seats around you to store your belongings. Sometimes you can even get the theater to yourself One of the downsides though is that the movies tend to be quieter but the theaters being sudo empty make up for that. I only mention it because if someone is being loud you may find it difficult to hear the movie Overall a good casual theater if you aren't concerned about the experience but just want to watch a movie and snack on some popcorn
I took my granddaughter to see a movie today and found the staff to be kind and helpful. The theater was clean and we were excited for and enjoyed the movie. One incident made things go badly: We went to the bathroom afterwards and I was not prepared. It smelled like a sewer from the vestibule. On the inside only one toilet stall had any toilet paper at all and at least 5 stalls were clogged. There is no way this is normal or ok. I spoke with the sweet young woman who took care of us when we came in and she explained that the person who does the bathrooms had just come in. I was polite but firm that this was not acceptable in any way. Ours was one of the first showings of the day. Checking the bathrooms has got to be an expectation, not an exception. Management of this theater needs to do a better job of taking care of this. We will not be back.
I was disappointed that there weren’t any nachos and there would be a wait for the hot dog. Not a dealbreaker, I go to the theater and the sound for the previews are playing but there is no projection on the screen. Apparently, for this theater room this is a usual occurrence. It did eventually come on. The theater itself is a bit rundown tears in the seats , the floor on the lobby looks like it hasn’t been mopped in quite awhile. Lastly, it was stuffy and felt like the ac wasn’t on. I would not recommend this theater or come back to this location.
We saw a movie with popcorn and a drink, 2 of us, and had a good time. The theater was clean, smelled like popcorn...the climate was nice, the floors weren't sticky, the bathrooms were clean and stocked. I buy tickets through the app, AMC and now that it's winter, need to upgrade my membership. Seeing a couple of movies a month I think it's cheaper. Good times
Went to the movies with my family and when we walked in there was no AC and trash everywhere. 1/2 the seats were covered whith white sheets saying out of service. Will never come back to the East Town AMC. Disgusting
The theater was litter free and the seats were comfortable. The environment was good, not too cold or hot. The front counter staff was friendly and accommodating. Of course, the cost of concessions was way too high but not out of line with other theaters.
This is my #1 spot for movie watching on a big screen more so many reasons, but to start I will name a couple the staff is always very polite and down to earth and second it's the closet one to me for someone who lives in East knoxville.
Outdated, very dim screen, and the prices for concessions were outrageous $5 for a bottle of water. On a positive note, the cashier was very friendly and the bathrooms were clean.
The theater was near empty. The screen was small and old. The sound system was meh. The service was A+. In desperate need of a remodeling. We paid 9$ per ticket for a midday show. Not bad.
Movie was great, employees was friendly but the theater had a smell. Idk it needs to be steamed cleaned
