A 4/5 experience watching Oppenheimer in IMAX here, the seats were kind of comfortable, but at times the sound was too loud inside the theatre to the extent that some dialogue in the film sounded garbled. Long story short, the acoustics inside can be better. Their popcorn, snacks and drinks collection is pretty eclectic. It’s located inside Concord Mills in Concord, north of Charlotte. There’s ample mall parking available outside. If you’re looking for a perfect IMAX experience, I’d recommend to keep looking.
It’s been a long time since I been to concord, now I see what I’ve been missing. I love the relaxing of the seats. Doesn’t matter who’s in front of you, you can still see the screen. Highly recommend.
Hadn't been in years. Downloaded the App again, pre-purchased 2 adult tickets and a combo LARGE popcorn and drink that would be guaranteed and I received a text informing me that the food will be delivered to me by the start of the film at 8 pm. The totaled came to $63 and change. Typical you would suppose except I paid nearly $9 in convenience fee, delivery fee, and service fee. Needless to say I waited 20 minutes nothing arrived I went to inquire about my prepaid order. Before speaking to guest services asking for a manager. The manager never came and I was instructed to go to the hot food section and basically wait in line to discuss my prepaid order. I let them know I couldn't miss any mote of the movie since all the previews were missed by now for sure and was able to get my drink. An employee asked for my seat and assured that the popcorn would later be delivered to me and instructed me back to the theater. For all the money I paid I would have just expected more. Seats didn't recline and it was crowded. The film and sound were absolutely splendid I must admit.
Went to see Indiana Jones tonight. Movie was good but the experience was far from it. This theater was filthy. Popcorn all over the floors and trash was built up all by the drink fountain. Husband said the restroom was super gross. We were in theater 15 and the only seats open were in the front. Since we knew the seats would recline it wasn’t a big deal. WRONG. Our seats did not recline and the leather on them was all cracked by the head rest. There was also like duct tape on the controls for the chair. For the price patrons pay to see movies they should get the quality experience that is advertised. This place did not live up to the AMC standards I’m used to seeing. We will not be back. I wish I had a photo to share.
Overall, this place was pretty good. I came here twice to watch Indian movies. The first time, the experience was pretty good. I got my popcorn and drinks, went to the movie area, and had a good experience. The second time was even better. The man at the front was helpful in guiding me to my movie. The popcorn was good, and I had an amazing experience with the slushie drinks. Overall, this was a good place. I would give it 5 stars for the experience.
I like the reclining seats they’re very comfortable. The theater was very clean when we came in which was nice. But I wish their food didn’t taste old. Like the nacho chips were stale as well as their popcorn and the blue icey wasn’t working.
This theater offers recliners that DO NOT RECLINE! You will find your recliner only reclines to a maximum of 25% reclining position. What is the point? I left with a backache and neck cramps. Regal Starlight has better recliners that fully recline 100%. Restrooms are always filthy. Overpriced. LONG lines for concessions. Not CCW friendly.
Most AMC theaters in the state need an update but I feel like if the seats don't recline, they shouldn't be available for purchase. My friends and I are at the theater very often and every third time we come, at least one of us gets a "cursed chair" that doesn't work. This time it was two of us. The leather is ripped on some chairs, Napkin holders are never full, flat soda. If you're just here to watch the movie, it's fine, but if you're looking for an overall nice movie visit experience, pretty low on the scale.
The worst theater ever! I saw a very large rat run under my seat when I arrived. I ignored that and took my seat. I had purchased my popcorn and soda online with my tickets and paid extra to have them brought to my seat at showtime. 20 minutes into the movie, still no popcorn. I had to leave the showing to go to the concession stand, where they said they didn’t have any runners-that would’ve been nice to know. I would’ve just gotten my refreshments before making my way to the auditorium. Bar also closed at 9:15pm on a Saturday? I’ll drive a little further for a better experience.
Nice experience. I purchased ticket online so entry was easy. I recommend purchasing refreshments online prior to show as well. The Dolby enhance theater was nice but I don't think it's worth $15
