1st off I’m not quite sure if this is in a sketchy area or not as there was an armed security guard with a vest on standing in front of the theaters before and after we saw the movie. This theater has great recliner chair seating with heaters. Wifey and I got a huge pretzel “like 2 lbs.” with AMC version nacho cheese sauces, two containers. We also shared KFC size bucket of popcorn and we got 2 icy drinks, yah we pigged out lol!!
We have been going to AMC 20 for more than 15+ yrs we have watched a lot of American & Bollywood movies here. We love having popcorn & coke here while watching movies tried their chicken nuggets too it was ok we miss their Jalapeño poppers more hope they bring it back on the menu. Being Memorial weekend we thought of catching up with a movie & have a relaxing day. We love the theater even more especially after the renovation this theater really required it love their leather recliner seats some theater have seat warmers too, only one thing bothers me is that I had expected them to do update their restrooms too. Today in the restroom none of the soap dispensers were working I think someone forgot to refill it all 5 taps were out of soap hope they keep it well maintained. Other then that we love it. We love that the theater has lots of parking spaces & food options outside like Tomatina, World Wraps etc.
I honestly didn't think the movie theater experience could have gotten worse than the one I had at a Century theater, but AMC has done it again. Just like with all the other theaters I went in and tried to get the full experience. I ordered food, did the whole reclining seat thing, and picked a movie that I felt like I would enjoy. Overall, I can't say the movie experience was truly horrible, but there was always nothing unique about it either. This means the only thing I can judge is the quality theater, food, and the pricing. As far as the theater itself, the seating was comfortable, the sound was good, and the visuals were up to snuff. With that being said, so were all of the other theaters I've visited since the end of the pandemic. The food quality left me wanting. The hot dog was undersized and the popcorn was prefilled on the left on a shelf for who knows how long before I grabbed it. As a point of contention specific to the popcorn, having it premade means you can't do the classic butter in the middle move that balances out the flavor over the course of eating it. On the upside, they did have a fancy Coke machine, you know the one, and they include nacho cheese with their pretzel bites instead of cheese sauce. Yes, there's a huge difference. Lastly, let's talk about pricing. With the overall movies experience not standing out, and the food experience not even in the top 10, I'm sad to say the pricing only makes things worse. I've obviously been to other movie theaters in the recent past, and prices were way lower. Century, Cine 7, and Grand Lake still offer discounts for showing up when no one else is there, but I paid ~ $18 to see a movie at 4:10 in the afternoon, not the best. On top of that, the food is almost double what I saw at the other theaters. A pretzel and a soda was $17.50. I did ask how big the pretzel was, and it was described as the size of a steering wheel, but even still seemed absorbent. I ended up ordering the classic large popcorn and soda combo still $17, and adding pretzel bites and a hotdog for a grand total of $34. visuals. In summary, I would have to rank AMC the biggest loser of the Pandemic movie theater adjustment phase, coming in way behind surviving locally owned theaters and the tech forward Century model. After visiting here, I'm almost inclined to go back and give Century another star based on a new reference point.
Not a big one like AMC Sunnyvale but it’s a nice cozy multiplex with IMAX and Dolby screens. Most of the screens have recliner seats and warming functionality. If you’re a in and out burger fan then this is the best place to book a movie as you can grab a burger post or before your movie. Parking is an issue on weekends so plan it better.
It’s definitely getting older but it’s still cool. They have a bar in the lobby. The popcorn is not fresh $11 for a large with one refill as a Stubs member. Plenty of parking lot. Several theaters which seem decently clean. Theaters with recliner chairs and seat warmers. Attached photo of the smallest #17, second row from the back. Not a lot of customer care: For instance they left the door open and you can hear people outside your theater exiting from other movies talking really loudly.
I have not been to this AMC Movie Theater for a long time, but it was a very pleasant viewing experience of IMAX 3D for the 2nd installment of Avatar: The Way of Water.
I have usually enjoyed this location for normal movie screenings. The staff is usually not unfriendly and the facility is quite nice with updated seats and clean bathrooms. I did not have a good experience while watching Avatar in 3D iMax. The ticket checker at entrance was unusually rude, they didn’t even point us to the glasses or the screen like they normally do. When requested, she made us pick out 3D glasses from what looked like pile of freshly used glasses from a previous screening as opposed to picking it up from a wrapper like in all other 3D theaters. We were rudely asked to clean it ourselves using antibacterial wipe and everyone had to share the same cloth to wipe the glasses themselves. Remember, this is a time when Covid is spreading again and I thought it was quite thoughtless and irresponsible. I have added a picture of rack of open used 3D glasses below and bacterial spray above it. Another person was using the common cloth so I didn’t take a picture to preserve their privacy. I watched the 10.45 PM show on Wednesday, 30th December, 2022.
I was very disappointed with not having any Kettle Corn or Redbulls. While watching our movie, I could hear the action and sound from the theatre next door. The soundproofing is horrible. I probably won’t be back to this theatre until they update it. Fairly clean as far as I could tell.

This AMC has some issue with people watching Bollywood movies. 2-3 times I have had the experience of lights being kept on in the theatre or lights on inside the projector room which never happens in any other theater. Someone needs to look into this. Even after I complained, nobody did anything.
