Very empty and calm. Very clean and the staff was so sweet they even gave my daughter samples of the popcorn flavors like cheddar and caramel. My cheesy lover picked cheddar but the movie theater was big and chill. The restroom was also maintained and clean I was surprised by the conditions of this super old theater I use to visit as a younger girl still being so prestige.
Great Place to watch movies! The Cinema Showrooms, Screens and Sound Fidelity and Staff are great The shopping plaza has a big and conveniente parking and there are some good options for eating or shopping before or after the movies ;0 100% recommended
This theater has a very practical layout and like it’s sister theater AMC Aventura has made many strides to deliver some very solid independent cinema to South Florida! The IMAX auditorium is not quite at the same level as some others so do keep this in mind for the major blockbusters! #amc #sunsetplace #movietheater #southmiami #florida
Nice theater with comfortable reclining seats! They have coca cola machines for soda and self-service popcorn butter too. You can get validation for parking but we only got $1.75 off our parking ticket for a 3 hour movie unfortunately. Overall good quality movie theater in a nice outdoor mall setting.
There are a lot of good things about this AMC. To start the staff are friendly, they're quick & knowledgeable. The food stand attendant was great. She was able to multitask my order & that of the woman that was in front of me pretty quickly. The popcorn didn't taste old & there was a SELF-SERVE soda/ icee machine which to me is always an AWESOME amenity. I went and saw the 2 pm showing of Black Adam. The sound was pretty good, the picture quality was good & the seats were comfortable. Now they're no recliners like the ones from the cinepolis in Chelsea but hey still pretty comfy. Two things I would recommend. 1. Fewer people are going to the movies nowadays so the price tag doesn't make sense. Add in big reclining seats, make the aisles a bit bigger & give it ambiance with Led lighting below the seats. 2. Increase the box office ticket price and remove the earlier than 4 pm showings. Later is better.
Food and drinks were great. iMAX experience amazing. Sounds quality, 3D perfect. The reason I’m leaving a 3 star is because they turned the air of mid movie and it was a 3 and a half hour movie. By the time the movie was over we were sweating.
Experience was great, kids had a good time and it wasn't busy at all. Sad to see these types of venue slowly dying down with so many new options to watch movies now and days. Nonetheless it was great to go out and disconnect from reality and watch a good movie with family
AMC, you guys have to do better. If you’re going to charge an arm and a leg to watch a movie, the very least your employees can do is clean up after every showing. I walked into the 6pm Antman movie to find popcorn on my seat and a banana peel in my cup holder. With so many options in the Miami area to watch a movie, you have to stay competitive somehow, maybe cleaning up after a showing is a start.
We've been spoiled and expect "Lazy-Boy" styled recliners at the movie theater. AMC Sunset Place 24 is lacking in that dept. Their soft drink machines were out of several options. The popcorn cold. The sound in the theater cranked way too high we saw '65' starring Adam Driver.
SIMPLY THE BEST...EXCEPT FOR PURCHASING MOVIE TICKETS THE PERSON WHOM IS SUPPOSE TO HELP YOU IS ALWAYS ON THEIR PHONE AND SEEMS TO NOT WANT TO BE THERE WORKING. HE WASN'T VERY COURTEOUS, HE IGNORED ME UNTIL HE FINISHED HIS TEXT MESSAGING CONVERSATION AND THEN HE WOULD ATTEND TO ME TO PURCHASE MY MOVIE TICKETS . THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER AND NI RESPECT. IT'S JUST RUDE AND PEOPLE NEED TO LEARN TO GET OFF OF THEIR PHONES AND INTERACT MORE WITH OTHERS. REALIZE AND RECOGNIZE THERE'S A LIFE OUT OF YOUR PHONE. THANK YOU!!!
