AMECA Mexican Restaurant

Went for lunch and had the Speedy Gonzales from the lunch menu. This included one taco, one enchilada and rice. The food and service were good and the restaurant appeared very clean.Food: 5/5

Great atmosphere, wonderful service, tv's for watching sports and the decor is beautiful! Well maintained bar area. The bathrooms were clean and well supplied. Josie, our server was friendly, great sense of humor and welcoming. OH my, the food was hot and delicious! Chips were warm and fresh. I enjoyed the Problano pepper, thumbs up to the cook. My only suggestion was to remove the Chivas sign...lol! I am an America's fan! I would definitely eat there again....maybe when Americas plays against the Chivas! Parking: Plenty of spaces close to the entrance. Parking spaces were well lighted. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access in and out of the restaurant

chips where nasty definitely needed to change the grease they fry them in service was alright tell the check came didn't ask if all on one or separate just threw it down and took off. so we didn't even get to go drinksFood: 2/5

Food was pretty good. My friends chimichanga was burned but they replaced it quickly. Cheese dip and guacamole were very good. Vegetarian options: Veggie chimichanga was good

Ordered Fajita Nachos as an appetizer, beef, chicken and shrimp, very delicious taste wise, unfortunately all of the meats were either tough or slightly rubbery. Ordered the Ameca Fajita for 2 and surprisingly the meats were the same. The beans, rice, veggies and guacamole are top shelf. I will not recommend the watermelon Margarito, to sweet for my wife, I concur. If you're craving some South of the border flavor, Ameca's will definitely satisfy your taste buds.

I've never had a bad experience at Ameca, until now. We went to the bar side to watch the Super Bowl. There were 4-6 other people doing the same. So, after the game not being turned on for about 15 minutes into it watching it on our phones, I spotted the remote and changed the channel. I was immediately confronted by, whom I'm assuming, was the manager who rudely told me I wasn't suppose to do that. I said well, we are here to watch the game and he just repeated himself, very rudely. There was no one in this section working. We saw a waiter maybe twice and had to flag him down for menus and refills. And no, they were not busy AT ALL. With several choices in Mexican restaurants in Monticello, I can honestly say I will not be back to Ameca. We left and went to La Terraza and had a great time, amazing customer service and they were packed!

Wow! Friendly staff, very very fast and good priced food, nice atmosphere, and clean! Probably my favorite Mexican restaurant now.
