Monticello red wheel Restaurant

Walked in, was told sit anywhere. Sat ten minutes, no menus. Got menus sat ten more minutes. One couple there when we walked in, another came in while we were waiting, immediately got menus, drinks and their order taken. The place needs work. Most health departments would not like the state of the ceilings.We ultimately went down the street to the DQ in Monticello where we were warmly welcomed.

We came in a group of 10 on 9-12-22 and were given the back room. The food was delicious and the portions were huge, but the waitress we had was exceptional. She was kind, witty, attentive, personable, and had a GREAT attitude. Management- hang onto her and treat her well. She “gets” it!

Food was mediocre. Girlfriend's french fries were tasteless even with salt, spaghetti barely had any meat in it. Salad was pretty good. Environment was pretty peaceful and clean. Service wasn't terrible wasn't great either in all honesty, but what really irritated me is that there was a surcharge for using a credit card. That wouldn't be a huge deal, but I only found out AFTER they already ran my card. Highly recommend avoiding this place I know I sure won't be back.

Enjoyed our dinner with family. Haley was very nice. Food was yummy Please consider fixing the walkway in, dad tripped over the raised concrete slab. He thankfully didnt fall. It is a hazard.

Decent hot turkey sandwich , senior and hamburger,cooked medium rare. Fast service quiet friendly atmosphere.
