We recently bought a dining room set there. Our sales rep gave us plenty of space to look around, but was close enough to answer questions. Table had a small crack in it. When I called they asked me to text a picture of the crack. They delivered a new one the next day. We will definitely shop here again. Great service all the way through even when things didn't go perfect.
These guys are great! I've furnish both of my home with them. The staff go above and beyond to help meet your needs. Everything I bought arrive on time and it look beautiful, I couldn't be happier. In fact I'll be going there again to shop for Memorial Day to get living room set. Go there they'll take good care of you
Around 2013 we bought a living room set including a couch and loveseat from American Furniture Galleries because the price was right and we liked the style. For awhile they were great, but then recently the couch broke. When I took it apart to see if I could fix it, I was appalled to see the main support beams were made from garbage wood that had huge knots in the center, which is exactly where they broke. It's like they intended for this couch to fail. Unless you want throw-away furniture, I wouldn't recommend buying from American Furniture Galleries.
There's a reason for the 644 mostly positive reviews. They have a good selection and more importantly - stuff is in stock! Our experience was great and couch delivered three days later, on time. Plus, our salesperson Jesse was patient and knew his stuff. There was also an office manager / supervisor who was also helpful can't remember her name. Highly recommended.
Had a very pleasant experience at American Furniture Galleries in Rocklin! Amazing staff, process was smooth and was able to get all items purchased and scheduled for delivery together including touch up/ fixing 2 floor model pieces with the other new items. Delivery personal was quick, careful and friendly. Had a item missing from order but after a quick call to our sales rep we were able to locate it and have that piece delivered as soon as they could. Worked well to make things right even tho it was a bit disappointing but they worked together as a team to get the piece to us as soon as they could! Would use them again and even recommend them to others!
The purchase experience was great. God forbid you need repair service on an electric recliner 3 months after the purchase. After service is absolutely your worse nightmare. We are aware of parts shortages we were waiting patiently for 3 months. Not a single call from anyone with an update in that time. We finally got someone on the phone and he explained that they will take a part off a floor model and come to install it. Great! We scheduled time for someone to come and install the part and a week later the guy showed up. Come to find out they are taking the whole couch back to the store.? I have a home full of people and a big empty spot in my family room, no where did my family to sit. We called to reach the manager of this store just to be told “he will not call u back”. We went to the store and there is NO SERVICE MANAGER or MANAGER at this store and u have to try and fight your battles out with a customer service guy that was trying his best. After a long heated discussion they offered us a loaner. Great they will deliver it in 4 days and call us the day before. We received the loaner and we were told the repairs couch should be ready in a week. We will receive a call. Short story - they showed up a week later .. no call. I’m in my pajamas on a work conference call. The 2 guys that does not speak a word of English. The couch was delivered and the guy wanted to leave before plugging it in and testing it. This was the worst customer service and repair service I’ve ever experienced. You guys should be ASHAMED of yourself.
Very happy with the furniture from here. Table and chairs are high quality and look great. My problem is with the payment plan... I was under the impression it was an in house credit deal like RC Wiley.. well it's not. They strait up sign you up for a Wells Fargo credit card. There is no more working with the store. I'm extremely unhappy about it. I HATE dealing with Wells Fargo and it sucks that I can't just pay through the store. I understand it may be old school to do that but it's how I work. I don't like having another credit card and will be canceling it probably for a fee, thanks as soon as the payments are done.
Almost twice as expensive including discount than in other places. Also they lost part of the furniture set on delivery. No refunds or cancelation.
I give two stars because the couch looks nice and the delivery and set up was good. The problem is the sales lady lied to me not once but THREE TIMES! I asked for a leather couch. She said the couch was TOP GRAIN LEATHER. When I was paying for the couch this nagging voice inside my head kept telling me that it didn’t smell like leather so I told her I was going to look at it again. I went back and sat on it. Went to the checkout and asked her again if it was leather. With a look of “Quit asking me this question” she said “YES IT IS TOP GRAIN LEATHER”. When I finished paying for the couch I went back and looked at the couch again. As I was leaving I looked for her again and asked “ARE YOU SURE THAT COUCH IS LEATHER”? She said for the third time “YES IT IS TOP GRAIN LEATHER”. After the couch was delivered, I looked at the paperwork and it said “BONDED LEATHER”. I don’t think this is going to last anywhere near as long as leather. I can’t shake this feeling that I have been ripped off every time I sit on this “FAKE LEATHER” couch. I have bought quite a bit of furniture from this company over the years. I just bought my daughter a whole bedroom set more recently. I was even going to buy a California King bed but it wasn’t in stock that day. I am glad I didn’t because she probably would have lied to me about that too. I will not buy anything from this company again and will advise any and everybody I know not to shop here. THEY WILL FLAT OUT LIE TO YOU FOR THE SALE!
After a lot of furniture shopping nightmare's, I gave it one more try. I went to American furniture Galleries in the Rocklin location. From the first phone call, to getting my delivery, Tammy displayed the best customer service I've seen in quite some time. That old school customer service, that you rarely see anymore. It seemed as if it was her goal in life, for me to leave extremely happy and never forget my visit. She's very attentive! Knowledgeable, just there for you! She made it easy, never came across like sales person. She kept up with me, through phone calls, texts, pics of my things if needed, doing more than she really had to, without any hesitation. Her kindness went along way. THANK. YOU VERY MUCH. TAMMY!! for making my headache go away!
