Stay away from this nest of incompetence. Overcharged services with a total carelessness for the patience and a for profit mentality. Be careful also as they write falsehoods in the diagnosis reports to avoid possible repercussions later on. Don't go there and if you do, keep your eyes open on all they write and challenge the diagnosis of these incompetents.
I am an RN in the US and had the unfortunate experience of getting sick while visiting Paris. I went to the ER last night with constant wheezing, coughing, sneezing, congestion, and a fever. I was struggling to breathe without wheezing heavily. I arrived at 1:00am and was promptly taken into a private room immediately didn’t sit it a waiting room at all. The nurse great English speaking assessed me quickly and the doctor also excellent English came in within twenty minutes. My breathing treatments and medications were administered immediately. Despite being a busy night, they got the tests done very quickly and came frequently to check on me. At 4:00am I was significantly better and they discharged me with prescriptions. The hospital is extremely modern, clean, and nicer than many US hospitals. I felt very safe and found the care to be excellent and efficient. Who can say they only spent 3 hours in an ER and left so much better? I would recommend this hospital to those visiting Paris. It was worth the 30 min Uber drive from my hotel.
I was visiting Paris on vacation from America when I felt a strong, excruciating, sharp pain in my abdomen. I had no idea what this was and was terrified feeling so ill in another country. I came to the American Hospital of Paris at 9pm after leaving another chaotic hospital. I was relieved to be greeted and cared for by such an amazing staff at the American Hospital of Paris. They quickly admitted me, saw the doctor almost immediately, administered tests and scan to see what the problem was. All the nurses and staff were attentive and kind. I was admitted for about 7 hrs and the staff made sure I understood the status of my tests and what was taking place. This hospital was 10/10 in making sure I felt safe and cared for in a country where I do not speak the language or, at the time, knew why I was in so much pain. Thank you American Hospital of Paris for helping identify my pain and taking great care of me.
Perhaps the most efficient hospital in Paris. I arrived and was with the triage nurse within 10 minutes compared to others with a 1-2 hour wait ... whisked off to a patient room. Doctor saw me, arranged XRays. I was out in 1 1/2 hours. Three problems: The price was over 600E sooner pay but not that much than wait HOURS. I was prescribed two OTC medicines! Sent a long survey to my mobile phone; as if?
Allegedly the top hospital in Paris, but entirely unhelpful. I chose to come here because of a chronic issue that I’d been having difficulty communicating to other doctors in Paris in French and hoped to speak to a doctor in English. However, after waiting 2 and a half hours, the doctor was unhelpful and told me to come back another day, and her english was much worse than my french. What was supposed to be a simple procedure was immediately shut down and she did not bother to listen to my concerns or case history. She proceeded to disappear for 45 minutes without explanation. Once she returned, she was rude and of no use in getting a referral or an appointment to get my actual issue fixed. Three and a half hours after I arrived, I left in tears without any resolution. I would advise others to not waste their time and money at this facility.
Extremely overpriced for bad services. I ended up paying over 250€ for 15mins of consultation and costs of their oen laboratory. Constant long waiting times, also on the phone. Didn’t really get information about my diagnosis nor about other services. Got misinformed about a medication from the doctor and overall it didn’t really seem like they care about you. Will definitely never go there again..
Horrible experience!! I came with my mom as she was very sick and was almost fainting. I asked for a bed to let her lie down while waiting and I was SCREAMED out by the nurse telling me that you had to be almost dying to be allowed to have a bed not very reassuring for a private hospital that should not be as overwhelmed. I was shocked by the lack of humanity of the staff in a stressful situation.
For those who are considering a visit to this hospital please reconsider different private clinic. They proclaim to be the best medical staff yet when I went in with my surgery post follow up they lacked staff and showed no concern. I was kept waiting in Pain, excruciating pain, and this was an open fracture follow up.
One would think that such discrimination would not exist in 2022, but it does at this hospital. Just had an interesting conversation with their secretary while trying to make an appointment for an MRI. While she was taking my contact details, she became particularly interested in my nationality even though I did mention that I’m a resident in France, I have a carte vitale and dépassement honoraire would not be a problem. I became interested to know why she needed such information. The answer was that the price would vary depending wait for it! on my nationality. Would be interesting to know the list of nationalities that pay the most and maybe the price also depends on the skin colour? What a disgrace…
I’m sitting here at the patient room where we’ve been taken from waiting area 30 minutes ago, still no movement or even interest in us. We’ve been here in total for 2 hours now with an ear pain which got worse while we were here and no one cares. For the amount of money this service costs this is just ridiculous
